Some of the things that bugged me about the company: The workload is outrageous. You are encouraged to learn new and different things so that you can wear many different hats within the company. It is not uncommon for you to do the work of 2 or 3 people. Consistency is literally non-existent. The CEO could say one thing, and the workers did what he wanted us to. Then days or weeks later something else is said that contradicted the initial order. This was an extremely common occurrence. Getting new clients was extremely difficult because people in sales never last more than a few weeks. When it comes to conducting business, almost every client had something different they were sold on. Potential clients were promised any and every thing just to get them to sign on as a client. Even if their demands were completely unrealistic. This zero-consistency created more work for employees because they had to remember what was promised to what client. This companies business practices were not illegal, but some of the things that were done were morally questionable. For example, the CEO would sell minor SEO services. According to Google, giving a company page content on their Google + account would assist with SEO and help the company get onto the first page of Google. This is somewhat true however it is so minor that it usually does not make a contribution of page placement. The CEO was convinced that providing content and “optimizing” a companies Google + page would land them on page 1. He would even use this extremely minor SEO as a selling point. What the CEO does not know, Google + is irrelevant in the world of SEO. Yet, he would sell minor SEO packages where he could. When in reality all the company really did was create the Google + if needed and make sure all the correct info is on it. That’s it. So again, not illegal but morally questionable. Some of the things that bugged me about the CEO: One of my biggest gripes is this man’s lack of attention to detail. I found it beyond ridiculous that you could not send him an email that read more than a few sentences. If your email was more than a paragraph or two, he would not read it. Even if what you sent him was important. The CEO has made so many promises to clients that he cannot remember them all. There were times when you would have to explain a situation to him and he would respond with "I understand". The thing is, he really did not understand. He is a very stubborn and fickle individual. Someone once described him on Glassdoor as being "short-sighted". That could not be any more true. Another thing that bugged me about the CEO is that is he lies. He lies to clients and to employees. I am unsure if he thinks he gets away with these lies, however, usually he does not. For example, we had an employee that worked remotely. She was asked by the CEO to move back to San Antonio and work in the office. The employee agreed and began to make arrangements to make the move back to San Antonio. Shortly after she did, he told her that he was no longer going to be in the social media business and let her go. For a short stint, he did tell all the employees he was going to do this but it eventually changed. By the time he told her he changed his mind and did not need her anymore, she had already moved back to San Antonio. This left the woman literally homeless and without a job. He did this again in 2017 and told 3 employees he sold all the companies social media accounts to a third party. The problem is, it was a lie. He never intended on selling the clients and just wanted an excuse to lay people off. One of which has a baby on the way. Ill-advised to do business with this company.

Working at Rainman Creative has been a wonderful experience. I get to work with hundreds of happy clients continuing to keep their sites cutting edge as technology changes. If you are looking for a web design company here in San Antonio, this is the place. Edit: I recently discovered that this company was sold to a company based in India. They may be just as good (or better or worse) but my review is not as helpful as it once was.

It’s crazy how you never notice how badly your website can be until someone does it the right way. For years I had the same web page until one day my daughter convinced me to make some changes. I reached out to a few web companies around San Antonio and decided to go with Rainman Creative. Great work guys. My daughter, and I’m sure my customers love the new look.

I came to know about Rainman Creative through one of my friends and learned that they create beautiful websites. They were a pleasure to work with and came up with workable solutions to my product issues and created a brand new responsive website well within our budget. I look forward to work with Rainman Creative in the future as our needs change.

This company stole $5,000 from me and my company. They took over a year to provide a website that was only 60% complete. Their president, Rainey Threadgill, lied to me personally to steal more money from me. Anyone can look me up through our company, Ceram-Kote Coatings, Inc, and I will talk to anyone on the phone about this horrible company.
