I have never been able to find another school as family oriented, personal, loving, responsible, clean, comfortable, or affordable than Rising Starz. My daughter went there for 2 1/2 years and has only left to start Kindergarten. She loved every teacher that she ever had there. In fact, one teacher in particular was so incredible and went so far above and beyond that it blew me away on a weekly basis. She was always doing something neat with them and would expand on the lesson plans that she already followed to a "t" . Rising Starz became more like family than a day care to myself and my daughter and Im so disappointed that they dont pick up from her new elementary school because I would have gladly continued to pay for her to be there after school hours. They do all kinds of fun things during the summer, and also have regular parents night out from 6:30pm - 1am (which my daughter has made me promise to still let her attend). When I found this school 3 years ago almost I was looking based on affordability and had just left a school who charged similar rates but didn t provide anywhere near the level of care that RS does. As for some of the negatives reviews you see online, that is one person that had to find another center because their child would cry from the time she was dropped off until the time she was picked up. I remember hearing her screaming every time I was there dropping off / picking up my daughter and seeing how hard it was for the teachers to handle her. Ive never seen such an inconsolable baby in my life and Ive worked in childcare! The only thing Id like to say is that its not right to trash such an amazing school all over the internet because of a fault in parenting, not in the school or teachers. I couldnt be happier with this center and my daughter will continue to go back for parents night out and when on breaks from her elementary school. *by the way* i will gladly provide contact information if anyone would like to verify that the only way i am affiliated with the school is as an -extremely- satisfied parent.

Visited this daycare. Director seems nice and genuine. Everything I saw looked pretty clean (some reviews said the place looked dirty) but I only visited. The price is low, but they give you a very long list of supplies to buy which is pretty ridiculous. Daycares should buy these supplies on their own because it is their business even if they add it to the fee. Registration fees should pay for the supplies your child needs. Why dont some of these daycares realize this? On the outside of the rooms there is a list of kids whose parents hadnt yet bought the supplies. Thats kind of tacky. My daughter has an allergy and in order for them not to feed her that food I have to have a doctor sign something. Thats a little much but not a huge deal. The daycare seemed quiet. I dont know how much accountability there is or how well the teachers are watched or managed. Didnt seem real professional, seemed laid back but okay. The director wants the place to feel like a family environment. Another concern was the big playground. They have the 3 year olds play on it and it doesnt look safe for a 3 year old because of drop offs a 3 year old wouldnt notice. Toward the end of the day ALL the kids are combined into a big open area. If you have a toddler this might be a concern. So my biggest issue was just the crazy supply list: pipecleaners, dry macaroni or beans, #2 pencils (shes 3), paper plates, q tips, cotton balls, 2 boxes of kleenex (shell never use that much), 2 wide ruled notebooks, 2 folders with brads, 2 24 packs of crayons, markers (markers are iffy in her age group anyway), blunt tip scissors, etc etc etc its a long list. They do a potluck for thanksgiving time where parents bring a dish, my daughter has an allergy she wouldnt be able to eat anything because of the possibility of a reaction. So, not huge things, but just didnt meet my qualifications. Seems like an okay daycare.

TRUST ME YOUVE BEEN WARNED....... My son was bitten 5 times and when I tried to talk to the owner and I said "something has got to happen, 5 bits is way to much". The response I got from Devin the owners husband/employee "Do what you got to do". So I call the next day to speak with the owner Julie & her response was "I thought you would have been gone I was surprise to see your son this morning".. No form of lets talk this out, what can we change or do, no help in finding out if it was the same child and what worst about it is they took NO responsibility. This is how they handle there problems and thats move on from them and onto the next paycheck (your child). I will be filing a complaint with department protective family and protective services who is very familiar with this place. That should tell you something!!! I knew these people from a friend of mine so I didnt do my homework and now that I am OMG there are so many complaints about the way they conduct themselves as a business, it being dirty and the fact that only the front people speak English. Now that Im going through it I can say "YES THEY DONT CARE" once you say "do I have to go to another daycare" (guess they make enough to pass up $7,440 a yr). Under staff and not once was there was a lady taking care of my kid who could speak English and tell me whats going on. Once I was told I didnt have to give them 2 weeks notice I wanted to take off of work and go get him but best believe once I got the go ahead to leave, he wasnt there the next day. There is no way this place could ever get 5 stars unless its the employees. Plz stay away!!

I love Rising Stars! I tried to save money by having family baby-sit my kids, but broke down for child care when depending on others was too much of a hassle. Taking my kids to Rising Stars is the best thing I could have done. My children are enthusiastic and excited about going to daycare everyday. There is a great, family type atmosphere that encourages my kids to grow. The staff are hands on with the development of my children, the teachers are proactive and attentive. I love how they genuinely care for my kids not only physical well being, but their emotional well being as well. The social lessons they teach my son are invaluable to his success in life. I am amazed at the progress he has shown since attending. The staff definitely goes the extra mile for child care. The facility is always kept clean. I can usually always see someone from the staff cleaning any time I am there. The administration is amazing! They have went out of their way to help me and my family time and time again! That alone is amazing when I have grown accustomed to businesses turning the blind eye when the consumer needs help. The sense of family and friendship I receive from this business makes me view it as a community rather than an institution. I could never imagine taking my kids anywhere else, I can not elaborate enough on how great this place is!
