illusions Hair Design is both awesome and amazing. Sonia M. is the owner and my hair dresser. I have been a FAITHFUL client for the past 14 years and do NOT plan on ever leaving. Im not sure what happened to Jess Hunt on her trip to the beauty salon...Im not even sure she was at the same Illusions Hair Design salon that I go to. I have NEVER seen the display case with black shelves due to being dirty, on the contrary, Sonia usually keeps the display case stocked with hair and beauty supplies. I mostly like the fact that Sonia takes the time to consult with clients who 1) ASK FOR A CONSULTATION 2) Are about to do drastic changes to their hair. For returning clients she keeps well documented information about hair needs and is continually introducing new products to help us maintain our "locks of hair" beautiful, full and tamed. I also found out that Sonia is AHHHMAZING with special needs kids and adults. She has the patience and know how to be able to meet their needs with as little stress as possible. If I could rate her higher than 5 stars, I most certainly would. Thank you Sonia for all that you do to keep us up to date and as much in style as we are willing to be.

This salon was awful. I only went in to get a trim and the person cutting my hair (who never introduced herself to me) had NO CLUE what to do. Her scissors were NOT sharp and she kept "feathering" my already really thin hair. Ive never had such a terrible cut in my life. My hair looks like its got split ends everywhere and is frizzy now because of the way this woman cut it. On top of all of this, the salon was filthy. The floor was dirty (not just hairy) and the display case near the register had black shelves from all the dust and hair. I dont recommend going here, even for a trim, Its not worth it.
