I received unlimited classes for a whole year from Fihankra as a birthday gift. I was very excited to start classes because I used to be a dancer. They didnt offer Ballet (which I used to be in) so I thought I would try out a Hip-Hop class. Upon arrival the studio was locked up and we had to wait outside for 15 minutes for anyone to show up. We went in and the place was dirty and under construction. There were 3 other girls waiting outside too but only 2 stayed for the class (3 of us in the class total). The teacher barely introduced herself and barely asked me what level of hip-hop I was in. She started out with a fast 8 count and didnt seem to care if I could keep up before moving to the next 8 count. And there was only 1 wall of mirrors which she was NOT looking into. So basically she didnt see us to correct us at all. I had forgotten my water bottle and on the counter it said we could buy water for $1, when I asked she told me to just take it. (weird) She told us we could vote for what classes we would want to take so I voted for ballet numerous times. They never put ballet on the schedule and being a stay at home mom I could only go to late afternoon classes. I was told by the dance teacher at the last class that not every hip hop class was the same so we never finished learning the routine. I decided to try a burlesque class. The teacher was late again, and there were only 2 of us there for the class. She rushed through the steps and when we put it to music we were 3 counts too fast. That class BLEW. I tried to go for another Hip Hop class and the teacher never showed up. I complained to the director on facebook and she apologized but never fixed the problem. During the summer they removed all of their afternoon classes, So I was unable to attend and frankly I gave up on this studio. They are lazy, unorganized and they act like its all a game and they dont take dance seriously. VERY frustrating!

Based off of my opinion the studio is awesome! The classes are great, I go to Zumba alot and its always full. I enjoy going, much more affordable than a gym membership. The fact that some things about the studio may not be "perfect" to others is probably because they are still evolving. They recently opened up another day for Zumba. They have special events on Sundays, and specialized boot camp classes for people whom wanna loose weight fast. The fact they are nice enough to give someone water instead of making them pay for it shows the kind of good people they are...
