HORRIBLE, DEPLORABLE and overall DISAPPOINTING!!! Ive been a member for about three months at the Duncanville club and the facility constantly has broken equipment from the exercise machines to the jacuzzi. I left 24 Hour Fitness because LA Fitness has a jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. Its extremely disappointing to get to the jacuzzi only to learn that its either dirty, only one of the jets work at full capacity or none of them are working at all. My bath water at home gets hotter than the jacuzzi water at the club. In regards to the sauna, there are broken boards that havent been fixed which can be very dangerous. The restrooms are deplorable and there are always stalls that are broken and cant be used as well as sinks. The carpet is dirty and stained throughout the facility. Its unnerving to know the club expects the members to pay 100% of their monthly dues but the members cant use 100% of the facility that we are paying for. I challenge the owner to come in to use 100% of the services they offer their members see how he or she feels about the membership they offer their customers. Truly disappointed

I was a member of this club for a year. A month before my contract expired, I spoke with Carlos, one of the salesmen, and explained I did not wish to extend my contract beyond its 1-year anniversary. He told me there would be no problem and typed something into his computer terminal. "There, its all taken care of," he said. Later I verified my request with Demetrius, the senior training manager. Imagine my surprise when I checked my credit card bill In January only to find I was still being charged. I realized LA Fitness was running a racket, making it almost impossible to turn off their services. I called my credit card company and they sent me a note and an illegible copy of my contract. Even their mailing address was unreadable. They said LA Fitness had no record of my written request to discontinue my membership. That is true. The deceptive creeps in the office pretended to cancel my membership and put me to sleep by telling me everything was taken care of. In reality, I was the one getting taken care of. My advice? Avoid this dirty and dishonest place like the plague.

Lets see the facility looks nice, however I guess they are very selective on who they want to be apart of their gym. My friend and I went to go get information and possibly enroll around 3:30pm. The receptionist greeted us and said it will be a few minutes, that turned into over 15 minutes or more. I even saw one of the consultants call the receptionist and say something. When I acknowledged it to the receptionist that I saw the consultant call and he and the lady sitting at his cubicle turned and around looked and smiled she just put her head down. After about 20 min my friend bought it to my attention that all of the consultants were standing along side their desk talking and laughing....Customer Service is everything......I guess they did not think we were serious or our money was not good enough....Oh well we went right down the street to visit Planet Fitness....Customer Service was great and the staff was willing to help.......

HORRIBLE cannot begin to describe my experience. I have never encountered such rude and inappropriate customer service!! I had been trying to call to place my membership on hold due to my inability to go. I called EVERY DAY for a week TWICE a day and every time they took my number and said they would have someone call me back. The receptionist was HORRIBLE. She hung up on me twice with no explanation. Just hung up!!! I finally got a call back, of which I was running to get me phone, barely missed the call and called right back (so about 5 seconds later) at which point the receptionist told me they were on the other line and HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN!!! After over a week of constantly calling and not having anyone return my calls I cancelled my credit card all together. This is by far the WORST costumer service I have ever experienced!!! I highly recommend you find another gym ANYWHERE other than this one!!!!

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!! DIRTY!!! I now drive all the way to Grand Prairie to use that gym. Yes, that bad! Why is it so bad? I think there is way too much “FREE Play” if you know what I mean. The place is always utterly jammed with people. You would figure with that many members the money would be there to maintain the facility. Nope. Smells bad, equipment is broken, hundreds of people there, all the equipment is busy, forget about playing racquetball, the toilets don’t work, rust on the floor, no paper towels, sinks that don’t work either. Someone barfed into a sink that has NO WATER working. Ugh!! I’ve been going there for almost 2 years and nobody says “Hello! Enjoy your workout” like the other places. Can someone please hire a manager! This place is definitely running on autopilot and it is going right into the ground. I wonder how many people have bailed out like me?

This gym could be a whole lot better if there was better service by the employees. One word, LAZY. My first night there is the same night im writing this review. You know how all the dumb bells are lined up by weight? yea? Well i couldnt find half of them. Not even on the floor. You have 15s sitting in the 45s section and its just a mess. What makes it worse is that when the employees put the weights back up THEY DONT EVEN PUT THEM IN THE RIGHT SPOT. They dont care about anything, laid back, not a care in the world. What they dont know is that i came in the day before with no membership and just started working out mainly because nobody was at the desk for maybe 10 minutes. I wish the experience was bad that night before i paid 90 dollars to come here.Oh yea forgot about the gym.(had to come back in the edit) lets say they have 12 balls.....9 of them are flat. No air pump? WHY...HOW...ok.

This place is terrible. The staff is rude and the majority of the clientele are trashy and extremely disrespectful. My girlfriend doesnt like going by herself because when Im not there people make comments that make her really uncomfortable, some of those people are staff, and even had a guy chase her down on the road to ask if she had a boyfriend. Ive seen piles of glass in the parking lot from cars getting broken into and you have to watch your stuff like a hawk to make sure it doesnt get stolen. As far as the actual gym, its great for weightlifters but most of the cardio equipment is junk. A lot of it doesnt work properly or makes awful noises when you use it. The bathrooms are absoulty disgusting and the pool is usually cloudy and nasty as well. I dont recommend this gym for women and only as a last resort for men.

I just started going to this gym again. I signed up when they first opened and it was awesome. I dont think its that bad. Its true the elevator was out of order my first day and two machines were out of order as well. I felt the staff was helpful and the water fitness class was fun. They used to have a blow dryer in the ladies locker room and a machine to ring out your swim suit. Those are now gone. Theres alot of people that go to this gym, so I agree that they should have enough money to keep the place looking new. I was a little disappointed to see it this way since I wanted to rejoin La due to their cleanliness in the past. Ive still been going and I havent encountered anyone rude people.Im a little afraid since Ive seen peoples post about breakins. I will post my furture experiences here.
