Owner and director are beyond rude and unprofessional when it comes to communication. This school does an extremely mediocre job when it comes to providing an evaluation of your childs performance. In the beginning, communication was great and timely. On my childs last day of school, on June 3rd, I did not receive any sort of report card or evaluation, so I asked the owner for an evaluative report of my child. She made a note and informed me that the director was on vacation, would return on Monday (request was made on a Friday) and shed let her know. About 2 whole weeks after my request, nobody sent anything to me or cared to communicate with me so I sent a follow up email to the Director, Amy, letting her know what I had asked the Owner, Alpa, and I informed her that I was following up on my request. She apologized for the delay the following day and said Id have it by the end of the day. I did not receive it that day as promised. The following day, Amy emailed me to let me know that they had to contact my childs old teacher to see if shed left any notes behind so they could prepare the report. 2 weeks passed and they still didnt get me anything or care to communicate with me in any way. I emailed Alpa, the owner, letting her know how disappointed I was in the rudeness and unprofessionalism of Amy, as she had simply been rudely ignoring my request. She apologized for the lack of communication and indicated that they were trying to get a hold of my childs old teacher and that shed be in touch with me shortly. 2 MONTHS later, owner sends this: "First off I do apologize for the delay. I did finally get hold of (name left out) and we briefly talked about (name left out). (name left out) told us that since she had a very brief time with her, she had limited time for a full assessment. We went over the basics and according to (name left out), (name left out) is very much in her age development category. Her communication was above average and she also enjoyed art projects. At this time this is the best I could get for you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions." My child attended from mid April to early June. Even if she was there for one week, she should and still could have been evaluated. I sent the below response to the owner and she simply rudely ignored me. Apparently, she believes that mediocre 2 sentence "report" was sufficient". "I really dont consider this to be an evaluation at all. In fact, I find this to be quite mediocre and unacceptable. (name left out) attended for a month and a half, so there is definitely much more she should and could have been evaluated on. Even if she was there for one week, youd still be able to have a general idea on the social, emotional, and behavioral aspects. How was sharing, interacting with other kids and teachers/authority figures, etc? How did she do when asked to identify shapes, colors, alphabets, etc.? How were her listening skills? Did she follow instructions? How was participation? Adjusting to new situations and learning activities? Did she help with cleaning up? Again, I do not consider what was provided to be an evaluation, and I expected much better than that." What kind of school is this that cant even provide the most basic information on a childs development as it relates to how they performed in the classroom? And for the owner to simply ignore my email after providing such a lackluster response to my request for an evaluation is simply beyond unprofessional. Several parents I know were considering sending their children here. I let them know exactly what transpired and they have chosen not to send their kids there. I will continue to inform parents I know about my experience here. I have emails to back up every claim I have made about the unprofessional level of communication and the extremely lengthy time frame to fulfill a simple request of getting an evaluation for my child (didnt even get one after 2 MONTHS unless you consider the nonsense the owner sent me an evaluation).

This school has been an incredible blessing to us. We were at another local daycare, and we made the change to The Goddard School and are so happy with our decision. From the minute you walk into their beautiful, clean facility, you are greeted by truly a positive, friendly, and kind staff. One of our biggest concerns with our other school was the people they hired as teachers. That is one of the best features at The Goddard School. Their teachers WANT to teach and LOVE teaching. This is evident from the way they interact and lead their classes to the way they go above and beyond decorating fun, themed classrooms. My daughter was crying everyday I left her at her other school, and now she runs into her class with a big smile ready to start her day. What an amazing feeling as a mom to know you are leaving your child in an environment that is conducive for learning and growing, while be full of love and encouragement. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about the school. The staff and teachers, the facility, the curriculum, and the overall feeling you have when you walk into the school make me so happy we found such an incredible place for our daughter. When you cannot be with your child during the day, you want the best taking care of them. That is what you will find at The Goddard School in Flower Mound. We are so thankful!

Owner and director were rude and unprofessional, ignoring my wifes emails regarding a request for an end of the semester report for our daughter. When they finally provided a "report" 2 months after the request was made, it was beyond mediocre: "First off I do apologize for the delay. I did finally get hold of ---- and we briefly talked about -----. ----- told us that since she had a very brief time with her, she had limited time for a full assessment. We went over the basics and according to Hannah, ------ is very much in her age development category. Her communication was above average and she also enjoyed art projects. At this time this is the best I could get for you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. My wide informed the owner that this was unacceptable, that our child attended for about a month and a half and that they should have provided information on the below, and that what she emailed was not an evaluation and she simply rudely ignored my wifes email. "How was sharing, interacting with other kids and teachers/authority figures, etc? How did she do when asked to identify shapes, colors, alphabets, etc.? How were her listening skills? Did she follow instructions? How was participation? Adjusting to new situations and learning activities? Did she help with cleaning up? "

I seriously dont like this place at all. You can tell by the people that sits in the front that they are shady . They havent had a consistent group of employees there are changing teachers seems like weekly . My kids dont seem to learn anything there . Its always something fishy about the billing with the daycare . Every time I had a question about a bill and I wanted to speak to the owner about it she was always busy . Or she wasnt in the office so she say . I have two issues with that I called her bluff two times, I got on my phone and called the daycare and phone rang and she looked down at the phone . My second time was when I was walking inside the building I saw her hide under a desk when another parent wanted to speak to me. I strongly believe the owner Doesnt like confrontation or anything of that matter . I will warn you again Alpha the owner is very shady person. I dont think the teachers are qualified they have a huge turnover ratio . My next step is to call licensing and to report this facility . I have all my paperwork as well . Thank you .
