I was referred to the Primrose School of Southlake by longtime friends who take their 3 year old girl there. My wife and I are first time parents and were extremely apprehensive to take our three month old son anywhere. To this day, we do not trust our one year old son with his grandparents or a babysitter! We met with the owners and staff of Primrose four months before our son was born and immediately felt comfortable. They even let me spend as much time as I needed the first few weeks after he started (at 3 months) to watch how he handled his new surroundings. I work from home, so I have the ability to drop by at different points of the day to check in and I have never seen a problem. Primrose of Southlake certainly meets all items that you can put on a checklist such as cleanliness, organized, low staff turnover, low caregiver to child ratio, activities provided, etc. But they provide so much more than that. The teachers actually love and care for my son and talk about his achievements with the same twinkle in their eyes that his parents have.

I honestly cant imagine what it is like to run a day care operation. From the everyday occurrences with the children, to the occasional confrontations from upset parents. Rosemary and her husband have made themselves quite available to both my wife and myself and they are never hiding behind closed doors like many day care owners that we have dealt with in the past. Beyond the owners, the staff at the Southlake location are what make the difference! My kids LOVE their teachers! Love! And that love comes with some re-enforced teachings of how my children should mind their manors and when my children need to have their listening ears on (might be more often than not). Combined with our parenting, we find the primrose curriculum very much in line for what we expect for our children and we appreciate what they do for our family!

My wife and I visited many of the pre schools and day cares in the area, and Primrose was an easy choice that we never second guessed. We had two boys go through the program starting from 4 months old. They have been loved, taught and cared for the entire time. They have always been comfortable and love going there. They have learned the social skills you would expect from having kids in a classroom setting with their peers, but they have also learned many of the educational skills that have prepared them very well for kindergarten. The staff has always been friendly and very loving and concerned for all the kids here. We have made great friends with other parents of children that have been in our boys’ classes throughout the years, and they are as pleased with Primrose as us. I highly recommend Primrose.

I met the owners of Primerose School of Southlake at the beginning of my pregnancy. Im a proactive Mother! I was highly impressed the automatic bond, sincerity, and instant intuition I had visiting their facility and they have been providing daycare for my son since March 2008 when my son was 8 weeks old. My son loves going to Primerose School of Southlake and enjoys spending time with his teachers and friends, as they provide many fun and educational activities. Primerose School of Southlake is very clean and organized, as well as providing healthy snacks and meals. Overall, their ability to connect with young children and abilities to provide a professional setting, I definitely recommend them to any other families in need of childcare services.

My son was with Primrose - West Plano for 3 years. When I relocated to a different part of dallas I did not think twice about enrolling at Primrose of Southlake. I just assumed the school was the same, but very quickly (day 2) learned this school is nothing like the Primrose my son has literally grown up in. The front office staff is unprofessional & seemingly lacks formal training, facility is very old & curriculum outdated. I will say the teachers seemed nice & friendly. Keep in mind this is a franchise & each school is unique. We miss our old school :( I found a different school (non-Primrose) nearby that is more Primrose than this school.

I was referred to the Primrose Family by my sister in law, she is a former Primrose Director. I sincerely feel the staff at Primrose Southlake is genuinely invested and concerned about my child’s well being and educational level. My child has progressed beautifully and I honestly believe it comes from the encouragement she receives. All of my child’s teachers have been instrumental in development. Any challenge my family has had, has been discussed and handled promptly and efficiently. Being a first time, high maintenance mom, I would, and have, highly recommend Primrose Southlake.

We have our two year old kid join this Primrose. Initially we felt that we made right decision and soon started to realize that this was a bad choice. Front office lacks the professional courtesy and keeps complaining about child development instead of working to handle the situations. My biggest complain is lack of diversity at this location and lack of interest in improving the situation. I am very disappointed in this place. If i have to do it again i would never leave my kid at this location for care.

Primrose Southlake is a fabulous place that provides well-rounded programs for children. My 20 month old loves her teachers and the staff. I am constantly amazed at all the things that she learns there. We LOVE Primrose Southlake!!!

If your child is anything other than a submissive clone of all other southlake children, forget this school. The teachers / staff are not taught to appreciate and encourage individuality and creativity.

If you like an overpriced daycare, bring your kids here. Zero constructive learning is done at this school.
