Cant tell you how many times in the past Ive gone into one of the chain styling salons (Style America, Supercuts, etc,etc) and asked for a basic mens haircut... you know.. with a tapered back and sides... the kind that requires skill using a clipper... and not a one of them can get it right! Its like all they teach these "stylists" anymore nowadays is how to use a pair of scissors to cut hair while they hold it between their fingers -- which works OK for longer hair but doesnt cut it (pun intended ;) for shorter styles... I was starting to think that real clipper skills and real barbers (like the one I use to go to when I was a kid) were a lost art... until now that is... Ive seen some of the negative reviews here and obviously everyones entitled to their own opinion but all I can say is my son and I have been customers for about 2 years now and weve always gotten excellent, friendly and quality service. Bottom line: If youre looking for a good ole fashioned barber shop (complete with the red and white barber pole out front) where you can get an excellent mens tapered haircut (i.e. clipper cut) definitely check these guys out!

When I moved to Frisco in 2011, one of the first things I had to find was a good barber. Ive tried those strip-mall haircutting shops in the past, and was less than impressed. I also was looking for someplace that didnt charge an arm and a leg for a good haircut. I found exactly what I was looking for in Frisco Barber Shop. Blue, May and Phia all have a system that it doesnt matter who cuts your hair, it will get cut consistently the same. This is truly an old fashioned barber shop., and based on the fact that you typically need to call ahead for an appointment is a testament to the fact that they take care of customers, and plan their schedule so everybody gets the attention they deserve. It may make taking on new customers or walk ins a challenge, but the system insures that the quality is not sacrificed over quantity.

I have been asked to move due to the fact I was in front of the store NEXT to the barber shop. The barbers dont even park in the front of the building. Maybe you should have listened to the request before storming out. The barber explain that when possible please use the 4 spots in front of the barber shop for consideration for the employees that work next to them. I cant believe a customer would take time to write a review for being asked to move his car! They reason you have to book an appointment is because they are that good! I would be concerned if you could just walk in anytime and get a haircut without waiting! The barber shop has been great, not anyone can cut a flat top. it is great to have family businesses still surviving in todays world. Keep up the good work! Hope you enjoy Great Clips!

First class, old school barbershop with great people running the place. Excellent service, very reasonable prices, and a pleasant atmosphere keeps me coming back 6+ years after finding this local gem. They are always very accommodating, even if I call last minute for an appointment. Dont waste your time and money going to some franchise "wondercuts" place, go see Blue and Phia and get a real haircut.......BTW, I have never experienced any type of parking problem there and their spots are marked with plenty of overflow parking in all directions.....Come on people, this is not like parking in NYC, its a small strip mall across from the Soccer stadium in Frisco.....

WHAT A TRADITIONAL PLACE! I recently went with my husband and son for their hair cuts and it was impressive! It exceeded my expectations. The barbers are VERY friendly, welcoming, and very traditional! It is a low budget place, but the attention, detailing, and service makes you feel at home! Family owned business, which is what we were looking for. The cut came out better than Id expect for my husband and son--exactly what we asked for. The barber was helpful and gave us tips on how to maintain their hair. They have flexible hours, walk-ins is their business, and reasonable prices. I LOVE this place! HIGHLY Recommended!

Ive been to many places and never get the same result. Frisco Barber Shop is how every place should be! After my first visit they knew my name and everytime I come in its a big smile by everyone and a "hey buddy, how are ya". Any man shouldnt mind a little wait with all they barber shop conversation, guy magazines, (sports and military) and TV (travel channel or espn). What u want ur hair to be is all on computer, so all you have to do is just sit in the chair and relax. Prices is VERY fair also!

You guys do a fine job! Ive been going here regularly since 2007, and I never leave unhappy with the result, service, or price. Owned and run by a Marine Corps family; a lot of Marines take their business here, myself included. You want a great cut at a traditional place? Then get your butt over here! Yes, the lines can be long, but that is indicative of the service and results. Plus, you can sign in and come back later for your haircut. Or get there first thing in the morning, like I do!

Ive lived here for 15 years and finally found a good barber! Pia is someone I can count on and the amount of business they receive shows me that they are well liked and trusted. As for me I would walk a mile for a good barber. Thanks guys. Your comradeship means a lot to me as a veteran. Keep up the good work you really are a find!

I was in town catching up some old Corps buddies, Vic and Ron. I had to have a haircut for a Monday morning interview. These guys are great!!! Sat in the chair and was treated like a regular. They know what they are doing with the clippers. Best haircut I have had, hands down. A TRUE BARBER SHOP.

This is my go to place for a haircut. Every two weeks i make an appointment. They do book up fast with all their regulars, but there is generally no problem getting an appointment with a couple days notice. I highly recommend this place - so much better than your other choices in the area.

You cant find a better group of barbers anywhere! Ive been taking my son since he was 9yrs old and hes 17 now. They have done a wonderful job cutting his hair over the years. Much better than taking him to a salon, weve switched and never looked back.

Walked in the shop and instant flashback to the good old days in the Corps. Definitely recommend getting your high and tight at Friscos. Go from flabby, tree huggin hippie to shredded, putting rounds down range jarhead with one clean 0 to 5 fade.

I went from long haired hippie to clean cut proffestional! I know it sounds funny, but I wanted someone who could give a great cut and trim up my very long beard. Phia did an awesome job!
