I came upon Hair by 4 as it is very close to where I just moved, but I have to say that I was extremely disappointed! They are quite scissor happy over there and practically ignore your instructions. I went in to get an inch taken off of my hair and she took off 3. I requested a few long layers in the front and received VERY short layers in the front and the back. Also, I would not recommend coming here to get your hair layered as they use a type of razor to do so, which is terrible for your hair. This razor causes frizz, split ends, and a "straw like" texture to your hair. The price was only $17.95, but believe me, you get what you pay for!

I have been coming to this salon since before it was at this location and I love this place! The stylist are so nice and do listen to what you are wanting and will let you know if they need to cut more off due to dryness or split ends of hair. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Prices are great, People are great! So sorry for anyone who has had a bad experience.

I have been going here for years. I have never had a problem at all. I see either Carmen or Leti and these two are awesome! I highly recommend them to anyone! As a matter of fact, my Aunt drives in from Bellaire to get her hair done with Carmen. Great place, great location.
