I took both my 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter to M Studio last week. The price was just a few dollars more than I pay at the local chain. Isabelle did a fabulous job. She cut my daughters hair exactly the way we wanted, and gave my son the faux-hawk he wanted, cutting it in such a way that he could wear it flat on days he doesnt want to use gel. I was so impressed I made an appointment for myself to get all-over color and cut. I brought in a few pictures, and Isabelle cut my hair beautifully in a similar style, taking note of what I wanted, and also adding her own input to make sure it looked good. I have naturally curly hair, but it is thin and fine, so it is a challenge to cut well. Color was great, too. She was also very sweet and personable. The location of M Studio is inside Uptown Salons, and all of the employees there were great, too, very helpful. And it is a very pretty and comfortable location. I will definitely go back, and would definitely recommend Isabelle and M Studio to anyone!

Magnena is so amazing she takes her time and evaluates whats best for you !!!! I look forward to more sessions with her I first contacted her by phone and we talk almost 45mins she was not one to say well in order for me to help you will need to come in she was one that asked questions and gave feedback on whats best I told her that I would just make an appt to come visit and let her make her determination rather than continue to hold her on the phone she granted me the opportunity to come in her concern was that I dont reside in the area and wanted me not be know she couldnt make any promises if she was able to assist me with the care of my head anywho I made the 1.5hr drive an I am one happy customer the entire staff is great !!!!....................Bre Washington

I moved to The Woodlands in October, 2014. After a very mediocre experience with a nearby well-rated stylist, I found Magnena. Im 42, with thinning hair, and not as stylish as I would like be, so I wanted someone to help me make the most of what I had to work with. I also wanted something that would be very easy to work with each morning. Magnena exceeded my expectations at every turn!. She listened to me, shared her insights, taught me about my head of hair, and gave me the best cut Ive ever had -- all at a price I could afford. Whats more, its been about three months and while I desperately need another cut, its still manageable! Im going to finish this review and go schedule another appointment. I definitely recommend her.

I moved to the Humble,Texas area in 2014. As an African American woman, I was excited about living near Houston with the hopes that I would have more of a selection in hair stylists. However, the hopes of finding a hair stylists who was professional and an excellent stylist who cared about the health of my hair was hard to come by. I took a chance on someones suggestion of M Salon in the Woodlands. I was impressed with Magnena taking the time to assess my hair before applying routine products and her willingness to accept my recommendations on which products work best for my hair. It takes me about 40 minutes to get to M Salon, but Magnena does a great job of getting me in and out in a timely manner.

I currently live in Katy. I moved to TX over 2 years ago and I had a really hard time finding a good hair dresser. I tried many, and every time I left disappointed. Magnena came recommended by a co-worker. I kept postponing making the appointment because her saloon was over an hour from my house, and I didnt want to drive that far, but after another failed attempt, I decided I will do the drive. I am SOOO HAPPY I did. Magnena is AMAZING. She did such a good job. I have a bob haircut, and she cut it EXACTLY as I wanted it. She took her time with it and it came out PERFECT. I am definitely going back, regardless of how long the drive is. I highly recommend her, she is very very good.

Magnena is a rare find. She has been doing my hair off and on for the 4 years I lived in The Woodlands, TX. She believes in healthy hair and customizes her services to fit your individual needs. I have a very hectic professional and personal schedule, however Magnena managed to work around it and altered her normal work hours. Her shop is clean, private and in a great location. Her appointments are consistently timely. She is an amazing conversationalist, with knowledge on an array of subjects. I would highly recommend her!

The first time I went to Magnena, I knew I had found what Ive been searching for. Magnea is a wonderful stylist! She not only gave me suggestions for styles that would look good on me, but she also gave me an excellent haircut and then gave me excellent tips on blow drying and styling my hair. She is also highly professional and fun to talk with. Im so glad I found Magnena!

Ive been going to Magnena for about 7 years now. I have very thick very wavy hair and I am always afraid to get it cut because 9 times out of 10 the stylist will mess it up. Since I met Magnena at M Studios I no longer have that fear. She is the only stylist I have found that can work my hair into any style from a BOB to long layers and everything inbetween. Called this place and the lady on the phone was rude, told me they had nothing available without giving me any other options to go in another day, I kept on saying I wanted a hair cut and she kept on asking what service I wanted and I said just a hair cut, apparently there is no such thing as "just a hair cut" in this place.
