Fairly new to Houston from Philly, where I always had great balayage blonde highlights. After going to another salon in Houston for almost a year and not loving my standard foil highlights and blunt haircut (even after I would insist I needed more thinning out and layers because I have a lions mane), I found Rocco Rivera at J Dall Salon online. He took the time to evaluate my skin tone, current hairs state and even head shape to ensure the look I wanted would be flattering on me. He set to mix my color and the end result was amazing! Its so natural but with just enough blonde oomph :) the best part is how beautifully it is growing out! He also fixed my haircut in general, alleviating the horrible boxy look it was developing by not being shaped properly. I have honestly never received as many compliments from strangers as I have until now. They think my color is natural and compliment my thick, coarse hair because it is cut well. If you have thick, balayage hair, u need to see Rocco. Or if you just want soft yet visible highlights (think Jennifer Aniston, Gisele or Lauren Conrad), go to Rocco.

Major update, curly and wavy-haired friends! Eugene (aka The Miracle Worker) has made the switch to J. Dall Salon. I had another great cut with him and will definitely be making the change to follow him there. The location of J. Dall Salon is really convenient, right off of I-10 and in a very nice shopping center. The atmosphere of the salon is fun, energetic and the staff are welcoming from the moment you step in. Again, my curly and wavy-haired friends, you know how hard it is to find someone that understands the thick, unruly mess your hair can be at times, yes? Eugene totally gets it. I came in asking for a super short cut that would be low maintenance, but still professional enough for the office. He delivered. Ive had the hair cut for several weeks now and it takes 10-15 minutes at most to have it looking fabulous! Go check Eugene out at J. Dall, hes amazing!

Best experience EVER!!! I had a "hair emergency" and had gotten the worst highlights in the world done on my hair by an inexperienced stylist. Then, I went to J. Dall and Monica saved my life!! She color corrected by matching lowlights with my natural hair color and beautifully fixed everything!!! Monica is so talented, professional and truly an Upscale Artist. I would suggest everyone go to J. Dall, the staff is amazing and the atmosphere is as well. I cannot thank Monica and everyone there enough!! Thankyou! - C.Rogers

This is an amazing Salon, the staff is super friendly, they are understanding. The Salon is very elegant and stylish with all you can think of products. I do my hair there with Safa and so does my 5 year old, we both love Safa, she listens well, she gives her professional opinion but takes into consideration what you want! Shes one of very few hairdressers who only trims a bit of your hair, she cherishes long beautiful hair and treats it well!

I had my first appointment with Safa a month ago because my hair stylist is very sick. Safa listened really well which was very important to me and responded. She suggested new things but understood my hesitancy to make changes the first appointment. she only did one minimal new technique which I liked. I have a second appointment with her later this week.
