So from reading all the great reviews I wanted to give this place a try. The first time I went I had to wait 40 minutes to get taken care of. I felt as if my presence wasnt even acknowledged when I stepped in. So eventually my barber was Mohammed, the person who was smoking outside and taking his time beforehand. He hardly knows English but he understood what I wanted and gave me an okay haircut and a great beard trim. He cleaned me up nice as well. For the price ($13) I didnt expect much more. I wouldve rated this place 3 stars taking away two stars just because of the customer service and lack of communication. The second time I went I had a terrible experience. Like last time, I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time which I understand because a good haircut should not be rushed. I requested Younis as he is always mentioned in the reviews as the best but he was done for the night and sincerely apologized and I got Moe instead. Moe doesnt know very good English either. I asked him for a skin fade and he just gave me a regular fade. But what ticked me off the most is he spent a whole 7 minutes cutting my hair. (I timed it) He worked really fast and didnt seem to take time and properly align everything. I felt as if I went to a $4.99 salon that I used to frequent in high school. He did not even show me the back of my head with a mirror at the end. I felt as if he justed wanted to leave as it was almost closing time. I left him a "hefty" 40% tip ($5) either as a gesture of a last-time customer or what I thought the cut was worth. Anyway, this place more of a salon than a barber shop. They dont do neck shaves or edge ups with a straight-razor. No hot towels nor specialty hair products. What Im trying to say is you wont get pampered here like you would like in a barber shop. And appropriately that is the way they do business and are priced. Id also like to note that their location isnt the best. Its next to a large dollar store and the area is pretty sketchy. If you have a nice car, Id be mindful, especially at nighttime.

I have been cutting my hair with Younus for the past three year. Last year he opened his own dig and I followed to his new location. Instant same day phone appointments. Younus is available even on Saturdays and Sundays. The staff is very friendly and courteous The place is clean and conveniently located. The barbers are all professionals in their job be it hair cut, eyes brown trimming, beard trimming etc. They will also cut your little Childs hairs. They speak multiple languages. I just went for a hair cut today and observed that they have a female hairdresser for cut and coloring etc. for women. I am going to take my wife along with me on my next visit.

Ive been in Houston for several months now coming from Chicago & this barber is by far the best in the city & comparable to my childhood barber back home. They take their time with every little detail & go over it multiple times. Appointments are accepted as I called in & didnt have to wait. Brought my brother & he received the same amazing treatment. Stop looking for a barber as this is the only spot to go from here, I definitely recommend & was never disappointed! I recommend Ahmed as hes very detailed with beard trims & fades but the rest of the guys are very professional as well!

Ive been coming to this place for about a year now and Ive always wondered why I havent discovered this place before. Even though I live in clear lake area and they are located on westheimer I dont mind making a drive out here because I know I am going to get exactly what I want as far as hair cut and beard trimming goes. Everytime Ive come the service has been great and you feel like you are at home with a great family environment. They really offer great service and recommend different things to make you look and feel great. I am definitely a customer for life now!

A friend recommended me to get a haircut from this place right before Eid, and since i got my first haircut, i absolutely have nothing but good things to say about this place, visited them again yesterday, staff is very friendly, Younis (my barber) is a very respectful and friendly guy, the place is very clean, the haircuts are amazing, they will cut your hair just the way you want and leave you looking clean and fresh, equipment was very sanitized, overall 10/10 to these guys, im hooked!! Very impressed and satisfied! Thank you guys!

my first visit I was so impressed of the quality of service the shop was very clean equipment was sanitized and most importantly they went above and beyond to make sure that all haircuts were up to date and executed amazingly I definitely recommend them and well speak highly of them as it is very hard to find great quality cleanliness and consistency in Houston so definitely give it a try you wont regret it. Ahmed Younis is the VERY best! He always asks what you want right away and continues to check with you as he works. He goes above and beyond to get exactly what I was hoping for plus more!! Hes also really good at offering advice on cuts and styles that work best with your type of hair. Hes a hard worker and dedicated to making your experience a good one. I highly recommend him! Will definitely keep returning!

A very recommended hair salon. The staff are very friendly and there is no waiting time unless you ask for a specific hair styler. Fast and efficient work. And very responsible prices if not the cheapest comparing to other places with the same service they provide. I saw the work of all the stylets and I can recommend all of them. You will never regret trying them.

Ive been looking for a good hair salon in Houston for 5 years, then I was referred by a friend to try a hair cut in Professional Haircut Salon, and after I try it I can tell that theyre the best. Mr. Younes and his staff are always welcoming and their hospitality were a great. If you come ones you will come every time, strongly recommend it.

No edge up, lines not blended, barber spoke minimal English (which makes communicating a haircut very difficult) in total the haircut took 10 minutes. My requirements of a haircut are not high (normally a sportsclips/greatclip kind of guy) but my experience was pretty pitiful. Upside: only $13 Downside: it looks like a $13 haircut
