If you are looking for someone that is going to care and love for your child like they were their own, this is it. After years and years of hopping from daycare to daycare searching for a place where I would feel comfortable leaving my 2 girls, I found Susan (Smarty Pants). And I believe it was a blessing that we did. From the first day that she cared for my girls, I knew I could trust her. She would hold and love on my girls like they meant so much to her. There was a day when my youngest daughter had an ear infection that seemed to come on in the middle of the day. She immediately called me to let me know she was not being herself and that she was crying as if she was in pain. When I arrived to pick her up, I found her laying in Ms. Carolyns (Susans mom, who also helps) lap while Ms. Carolyn comforted her and held her. I cannot express in words how much it means to me to have found someone to not only care for my children, but love my children. I will forever be grateful to have found Susan.

We moved to Humble just under 3 years ago. My husband and I started our new jobs the day after we moved, and Susan gladly took in our son with short notice. She allowed us to "try it out" while we got our bearings being in a new environment. Susan and Smarty Pants Daycare provided us with the number one need for our situation: trust. We knew that everyday our kiddo would be fed a healthy meal (no high-sugar anything there!) and learning social skills appropriate for his age group. Susans communication is great; shes very easygoing and shares in the excitement of any of the kids gaining a milestone. My son loved going there and to this day refers to activities he did at "Miss Susans school," and fondly recalls his time there. He was with Smarty Pants from 3-years-old until his first year of Kinder, and he even got a farewell package from Susan. Highly recommend.

My children have been with Susan for a little over 2 years now. I was reluctant to leave my children with anyone, but after meeting her, I was definitely more comfortable with it. The first day I picked them up, they were ready to go back, so I knew Id found the right place! Susan is amazing with the kids; very warm and motherly, but also sets rules and guidelines for the kids, which is great. I like the fact that the days are structured with meal times, play time(inside/outside), school time, and nap time! She even tries to do a few field trips throughout the year. They have learned so much being there, and my oldest son, who tends to be a little shy, has really opened up! This is a great home away from home for the kids, and I highly recommend Susans Smartypants.

We love Susan at Smarty Pants home daycare! She is such a nurturer and brings out the best in each of the childrens personalities! Our daughter is naturally anxious and it was always difficult leaving her at her previous, and much larger daycare. At Smarty Pants, we know our daughter is in great hands and she gets the personal attention all children deserve. We are so grateful for Susan and all that she does for our daughter. Susan also provides excellent educational opportunities for the kids. Our daughter comes home talking about all that she has learned and is always excited about their arts and crafts projects! Susan and Smarty Pants are definitely hidden gems!

We highly recommend Susan, owner of Smarty Pants Home Daycare. For any parent that wants their child to still receive quality, loving care in a comfortable home environment, she is the best! The small amount of children she cares for ensures that your child gets individual attention, shell care for them as she would her own. My child has grown leaps and bounds in his writing and speech in the time hes been attending, receives quality meals and snacks and this is setting us up for an easy transition to the upcoming school years. She is affordable and very friendly. We are very pleased, you wont be disappointed!

Susan has a wonderful tenderness and holds the kids to high expectations of being kind to one another. She offers an academic environment, crafts, painting, playtime (of course) gives kids exploration and learning experiences, talks with them and encourages growth. The kids also play well together. Susan offers healthy meals and a safe place for kids. My son has enjoyed his time there and I appreciate knowing hes in a nurturing environment. They even do yoga! =) I was initially hesitant about a home daycare but my experience with Smarty Pants has shown that these places can be solid and good.

I absolutely love Susan and Smarty Pants Home Daycare. It was such a blessing that I found it. My son was a little over 18 months when I put him in and being the youngest I was a little worried. There was no reason to worry at all, the kids took right to him and made him feel so loved and special. Susan is wonderful with the kids and is very organized and professional while loving at the same time. They get to play outside and eat healthy food, which was important to me as well. I am thrilled my son will be able to stay here for many years to come and make long lasting friendships.

Smarty Pants Home Daycare is the perfect daycare. Ms.Susan works with all types of families and is affordable. She provides a personalized environment and spends time with each child, treats them as her own & great clean homey environment. Wouldnt want my kids with anyone else; they cant wait to get there each day.
