Ive been going to this salon for over 11 years and many times I was told what fee would be charged but when I would check out they always add fees that were not presented up front when I asked about the fee. This evening I took both my girls to get trims and one got partial highlights. I went in earlier today to get pricing for what I would be having done. She not only wrote me a copy of the pricing and told me that the trim for under 12 would be $13.95. She also wrote in there schedule book what was needed and that one was under 12. So when I go to check out and explained to the stylist what I was to she went and got the owner Virginia for me to explain it to her. She told me that the employee gave me the wrong information and wanted me to pay $33 more than what I was told. I told her that I based the money that I brought on what I was told and she starred at me hatefully. I finally told her that she was more than welcome to hold my card and run the difference in the morning or I could stop by in the evening to pay. Again she starred at me rudely so I asked her if the problem was that she didnt think I was going to pay. She said a matter of fact I dont. I told her that I too am in customer service and would never not pay for services rendered even if I was blindly up charged. She rolled her eyes and said she has a problem with me every time I come in about the charges and not to worry about the balance that she will pay the stylist. I told her that I WILL come back tomorrow evening to pay whats owed and told her that if shes having issues with her employers giving the wrong information then maybe she should have a staff meeting and get everyone on the same page. If they had a price board that might make things a little easier. She again rolled her eyes and I told her after I pay the balance we would never be back. Thats not only bad business but bad management. I too am in management and your job is to try and keep the guest happy, not escalate the situation especially in front of my kids.

I had my hair cut, styled, and colored yesterday. The cut and style were awesome. The stylist was very nice and took her time. Im upset because I had told her in advance that I did not want my hair to come out orange. This has not happened to my hair in probably ten years. I always tell the stylist I have a red undertone and that usually ash blonde or ash light brown compliment my dark hair well along with a toner to keep the red out. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said she could definitely accomplish the look. I was not shown a sample hair swatch like usual, but I trusted that it would look like the picture. When finished, she kept telling me it was caramel and not orange. When cutting, she changed her mind and said it was too orange and put more toner on it. She said it looked much better and I tried to reassure myself that it did. I got home and looked in the mirror and it is bright orange. I look so ugly and I have meetings at my school district office next week. I am so embarrassed and they will not fix my hair. I called today and she said this is the best she can do and they cannot do anything else for me and the manager would say the same thing. She blamed your products and being out of stock on certain products on doing a poor job and said that if she could bring in her own it would look better. This makes me have low confidence that the right product was put in my hair. I didnt ask for a refund, just to fix what went wrong. I showed her a picture of what the stylist did to my hair at the same salon last year in one shot and less time. I feel like I wasted my day and money. Fantastic Sams will probably lose my business as well after this. I have been using your services at various locations since the early 2000s.

This guy named Leo he was supposed to do a hairstyle balayage on me and it came out horrible doesnt even look like I had gotten it done worst experience at Hair Salon ever.. Then he told me i was to pay only 50 and if i can tip him 20 because he dont get much on doing hair.. So i end up paying 70 dollars for this and he dont even did it right. Omg. Then when i ask for the manger she told me i only end up paying for a gray touch up for 50. And that the hight light were free. So this guy just got in trouble. For not even charging me for the right price. So then the manager wanted me to pay another 80 to do my hair. Am sorry but i wont be paying more if that was the price he gave me for the hair style.. Worst place even dont go there.. And if you do dont go to leo.. And also he told me to go to his house so then he could fix it. Uhmm thats so unprofessional.

I have been there many times and will continue. Virginia has cut, colored and highlighted my hair several times and I am always happy! I have never seen her answer her cell phone or be rude. Maybe, there was family urgency that day. As far as speaking Spanish, who cares as long as she speaks to me in English! All the nail places never speak English! The place is always clean and everyone I have had have always done a great job for the money. No complaints. Oh, I have seen the owner and HE was not Virginia. Unless, she has bought it since then.

I called in for an appointment at 11:15. I showed up at 11:10, and sat down down, they told me that it would be around 30 minutes. I was confused but I understood, so I told them I would be back at noon. I ran some errands, wasted some time and came back at 11:55. I told them I was here and they proceeded to take 3 other customers right in front of me after already making me wait an extra hour. I am currently sitting here debating on leaving and never giving them my business again.

I had two bad experiences here. First, I asked for a trim, I wanted to keep the length, but they took more than I asked for. Second, I asked for highlights, and a touch up on my roots. The stylist did not do the touch up, and argued with me about how I didnt explain to her what I wanted. I had to spend an additional hour at the salon. Although the owner of this location is very nice, the stylists are not experienced and do a mediocre job.

I just got my hair done by Leo and he is AMAZiNG!! :D I wanted it a pastel blue and lavender and he did such a great job, especially since I had red hair with blonde highlights and brown roots.. tough job to say the least. I am SO happy with my hair now. I will go back to him forever! He is also very nice and professional and tells me step by step what he is doing which I really like (:
