SKIP IT. THEY ARE AWFUL. This past Saturday I was supposed to have my trial run for wedding hair and makeup at Neroli.I drove 2 hours from IL to be there and just 30 min before my appointment the salon called me (mind you I scheduled this 3 months ago because I live in another state!) that the hair technician, Samantha, is no longer available on my wedding day. I show up, they have no back up scheduled for my wedding or for the trial, everyone is making excuses, no manager onsite. Chris at the front desk said "I barely work here" and "I dont really know what happened" and Samantha had the nerve to say "At least we called you today instead of letting you do a trial run and then calling you next week to let you know I wasnt available" I just dont have any confidence in the staff there. I had to ask to speak to a manager and none were on site, all employees were making ridiculous excuses, and Im still baffled why Chris sent Samantha, the tech who bailed on me, out to talk to me...I didnt see the point. When the manager was notified I received a nice VM from her, but I was too upset to talk to her. She sent me an email saying she "could talk to the owner to see if they could do something" REALLY? I cant trust those employees to be there or provide quality customer service to me or my wedding party, let alone provide backups in case someone became unavailable. I have no faith the same thing wouldnt happen to others planning their wedding hair/makeup-this is a stress brides just dont need! I decided then and there to pull my entire wedding party-hey, its over $1k worth of biz in a recession, I did the math. Worst customer service Ive ever received. Do not chance your wedding day to them!

I have never had a long term hair dresser and I have yet to find one that I like. I usually go to the IBW and the few times I have gone I loved it. I figured since Neroli usually hires IBW graduates it should be all good. I was half right. Im still not sure if my facialist was an IBW grad but she was sooo kind, I wish I could remember her name. I got a wonderful service and she even offered me a complementary eyebrow wax. Thats what I call customer service. I was disappointed, however, when I went to get my hair done. I got a color and cut and I have super thick half black and half white hair. What they charge for color first off is ridiculous because at the school they used about the same amount overall but started off with much more than Neroli Spa did therefore I was basically charged for two color applications plus the highlights I had done. I also know that it takes like an hour to an hour and a half to straighten my hair when I do it myself. She was taking about as long as a student and didnt even do it well. She obviously was late with another client because she basically started to rush halfway through my hair and was practically pushing me out of the chair so she could have her next customer. I was brought up that you should always tip for services even if they are bad but I certainly did not give her 20%. Needless to say if you dont have super easy hair to style, have normal to thick hair or its long, or if you have mixed hair DO NOT go here for hair. I loved the facial so no complaints there.

Just TERRIBLE! The people there are like robots, no one smiles and every time I walk in the door its the same welcoming lines over and over again. They charged me over $80 for highlights that you could barley see! I ended up going to Heads Up and they added A LOT more highlights which I loved. And they screwed up my eyebrows! I have so many people telling me my eyebrows look weird or they dont line up and when I look in the mirror one curves and the other one goes straight out like a half square plus they made one smaller than the other so I look like two-face, which makes me feel horrible... Not worth your money or your time. Plus I went in for my eyebrows and told the lady they tend to get dry and flake and she wound up putting five different things all over my face, my whole face felt like it was soaked and disgusting, I went home and scrubbed the layers of crap off. Theyre not worth it.

I had a wonderful experience both Alex and Brianna were both were very professional. The facial that I received from Alex was more than I expected and was very pleased with it. My pedicure was nice and as I said Brianna conducted herself very professionally, however I was a little disappointed that when the nail polish was applied my sandals were on and when we finished I was free to go, my flip flops that I was wearing had a wider tong and it messed up my nail polish and both big toes. I have been to other salons where they fit you with disposable flip flops or have you put your feet under a dryer so this doesnt occur so for that I probably won come back for a pedicure, but will definitely come back for a facial.

Sometimes going to a salon can be a little intimidating, but from the friendly staff up front to those in back by the nail and chairs, to the staff just walking around, you feel welcomed and invited. Its a beautiful and clean facility that makes you trust that everyone cares about the space. Sepidah was amazing! She took extra care on my eye lashes and when it came to cutting my hair, she really listened to my concerns and where I wanted to see my hair in the future. She explained why she was going to do certain things, which really made me comfortable and trust her completely and Im really glad I did. Very friendly, not overly or uncomfortably chatty, but very easy to talk to.

My experience is always excellent at Neroli. The people there are super professional and they know your name. I never feel like Im just one of their customers, but an individual/guest that uses their services. I dont typically have any complaints about my service, but one area of opportunity for them is scheduling. I get Novo Lashes every two weeks and it is problematic to reschedule a regular appointment as there is little room on their roster to accommodate a change. If you work during the day, you can forget about rescheduling nights or weekends for your services. Saturdays seem to be "reserved" for wedding parties — even if you schedule well in advance.

The massage I received was amazing! The masseuse did an excellent job. My frustration came after the massage. There is only one shower in the changing room, which someone was already using, so I had to wait. There was only one hair dryer in the changing room, which someone was already using, so I had to wait. After asking for an additional hair dryer to use, I discovered there was no outlet to plug it into. In the whole womens changing room, there was only ONE outlet. I realize that while the overlap of guests using these items may not occur all the time, when it does, its extremely inconvenient and frustrating.
