I have been going to Octagon for over 18 years, Janelle the owner has always been a compassionate person helping me numerous times when it was not protocol. I started with my stylist 23 years ago at another not so ethical company. When she left them the manager told me she gotten out of the business, a lie! I stopped by Octagon and asked about Meaghan and was met by Janelle who put me on the right track to one of her competitors. Janelle did not have to do that, but she did. When Meaghan left that one I got the same lies which is why I do not mention their names. I was not pleased to be left again, but I understand protocol of not contacting your clients, but I enjoy walking in and having the same hair cut each time without having to give constant direction, Meaghan knows me and just does what has to be done. In the mean time Meaghan joined the staff at Octagon, and I went back to talk to Janelle to find her once again, Janelle grind and said that Meaghan was one of staff now. I am proud to say that know both of these ladies, Janelle is a fine Christian woman running her business in an ethical manor, which means sometimes she has to make tough decisions that are not always popular, but right. Meaghan is like my daughter and we have a 23 year relationship that I cherish, at 66 that is nearly 1/3 of my life to have such joy.

So, ok, I am super picky about my hair and especially new stylists. I have moved for my job like 7 times in the past 6 years, which means finding a new stylist every 8-9 months. I always read reviews before I go, but am normally EXTREMELY disappointed and wearing a hat for several weeks after a bad cut. ALL OF THE GREAT REVIEWS ON RENNI DO NOT EVEN DO HER JUSTICE!! I went to her today for the first time (had not had my hair cut in 6 mos because of previous trauma) and she was absolutely incredible! She is this young, cute little thing (with GREAT hair - always a plus when your stylist has good hair!!!) and she is creative, she listens, she shows you how to make it look like she does it, she gives you other options if you want them and she talks about "where you want your hair to go" ... whether it is different style ideas, color, etc. Believe ALL the positive things you read about her. I love Octagon Salon, and especially my stylist, Natalie. She is the best! My hair and color always look great. She will make suggestions if you ask, but never is pushy. My hair always looks great. If this is your first time at Octagon, ask for Natalie and you wont be disappointed. I have been a customer of Natalies for close to four years and I have never left the salon feeling anything but great, never a bad cut or color. She will make you look and feel fabulous! The staff is always friendly, as a regular, I am able to have my appointments book for the same time automatically. They send you email and text reminders so you never have to worry about when is your next appointment. The salon also has a great selection of products and boutique items if you want to do a little shopping while you wait.

First off I got a partial with a snobby girl who said she had things to do because i had a late arrival..She did such a horrible job and didnt listen to what i wanted..she just wanted to go...She was fake and did my highlights which everywhere i go takes an hr at least(partial) she took 15 minutes rushed through it and my hair didnt lift very well..she ignored me a few times and i paid 150.00 plus 15 tip...why i tipped her I was insane..My hair looks really bad..i went to a haircuttery which i usually go to high end for a reason good service..haircuttery did an immaculate amazing job!!! Dont go there even if you have all the money to blow get a senior stylist as well..it was a girl in her early twenties......

I was absolutely amazed with Angie, my stylist!! I had an up-do done for being maid of honor at my sisters wedding and I have to say that I loved the hairstyle she did, her personality, and how well it stayed all night long! Angie was so nice, taking the hairstyle I wanted, adjusting it just slightly to how she felt was best, and giving me something better than I thought of! She was very relaxing and easy to talk to throughout the whole time. Some of the other bridesmaids had hairstyles that we adjusted right away or started falling out before the ceremony so if you go there I do recommend Angie over the others. I didnt have one hair out of place after hours of dancing and partying, I cannot rave enough!!

Worst hair coloring experience and the staff was not ready to admit the mistake. Moreover, they made an appointment for color redo and when I reached there, the stylist did not admit that she didn`t do the right job.The hair stylist (Ha.....) said that she did not apply the hair color in the area where I see grey hair and therefore I do not have a color there and then also justified it by saying that I had made an appointment only for a hair cut that day and not the color. I would like to ask why did she put the color if she did not have time for that and where then did she put the color? In my naturally black hair? Wasted my $100 on hair color and then buying the protective shampoo and conditioner.

I went to the Octagon to get my blonde "fixed." I had an embarrassing yellow, brassy tone going on, and I just wanted it fixed to buttery and soft. My stylist did a great job of asking me plenty of questions, educating me on the maintenance and care that blonde hair needs. And my finished product = I love it!! Plus, not only is the color great, but my hair moves! It is healthy, cared for, and they sent me home with products that I have been using since February to maintain the color and health. I love it! Every time I have ever invested in time and services at this salon, they have hit it out of the park!

I used to go to this salon all the time, they did my hair and makeup for my wedding! But the fact that they told my husband that he could book for 3 pedicures and a massage and manicure then when my sister called to put her name in they said they didnt have enough room for 3 only 2 my husband tryed to get his money back and they would only offer a gift card, even though it was their fault that we had to cancel, is complete bullshit. I feel like we were robbed by them. They managed to squeeze us in for pedicures but couldnt do the massage anymore and still refused is our money. Never again will I go here!

I recently got a gift certificate from my boyfriend for my birthday so I decided to go this past weekend I have to say that I enjoyed it very much. Kelly did my facial, Anne did my massage, and Esmeralda did my mani and pedi all were friendly and polite. The only bad thing is that it seems that I may have a bad reaction to the stuff that was put on my face. My face is normally clear I am now breaking out and have like a scar or something on my cheek. I would have given a five but due to the bad reaction I did decide to give it a four since everyone was so polite and friendly
