I went to get my hair done for a wedding a few weeks ago. A few days before the appointment I made sure to send a picture of my hair and a few pics of the hairstyle I wanted just to make sure it was something the stylist (Arri) could do and if it was possible with my thick hair. She assured me it was. Well, throughout the appt she seemed unsure of how to do it and kept asking how I wanted various sections to look. I didnt know how else to explain it other than to keep referring back to the pictures. Over an hour later I ended up with a very nice updo that looked nothing like the pictures I showed her. I understand that I have very thick hair and not every style is possible because of that. Had she told me the style I wanted wouldnt work with my hair I wouldve asked for something different. She was very nice and is probably very good at what she does otherwise, but I just wish she had been honest with me upfront. So while I got lots of compliments on my updo at the wedding, I was still bummed that I paid so much for a style that looked nothing like I was expecting.

Last time I went, which was my second time, I had a really bad experience. I have long hair (was to my waist) and went in to get a 1/2 and inch off. Geri beth was so busy talking to her assistant about one time they got drunk that she took a solid inch, inch and a half off. She dry and wet cut my hair, when there was no need, and spent more time handing my off to her assistant to do stuff than her. She knocked my hair from my waist to right below my shoulder blades when there should have been very little that was taken off. I honestly had to wait a couple weeks to even write this I was so mad. 1/5 stars

Ive been meaning to put this up for a week now. I need to give a HUGE shout out to Arri, she is by far the best hairstylist Ive ever known. She worked some kind of voodoo magic and made my hot mess of a head of hair into a magical grey/silver wonderland that Ive been wanting for years! And not only that, but she stayed 2.5 hours late just to help me (Im still SO sorry about that!) I cant believe she actually made it possible though. Everyone here is so wonderful and funny, I cant get enough. I highly recommend Arri, and again, thank you so much, Im in love with my new hair.

Its been a little over a year since I started going to Christina to have my hair cut and colored. She is amazing! Shes a great colorist and knows what will work for your face shape and body frame. Whenever I go, I feel like Im hanging out with my girlfriends. A lot times everyone joins in with conversation and its a lot of fun. All the stylists have great personalities and the mood is fun and light, but they do a hell of a good job! Its small and intimate and you dont feel like a number! Seriously.... just try it, you wont be sorry!

Christina is AMAZING! I just wanted her to trim up my inverted bob, but she made it look even better than it did the first time I had it cut! She is very talented and strives for perfection. The great conversation was just an added plus. Bet haircut Ive had in years! Get Dolled Up has great prices, and a very chic,comfortable atmosphere! The owner, Jerry Beth, is great too. I would recommend to anyone!!!

Cute shop, friendly employees, and I had a very good haircut from Arri. I am very particular about my hair which is long and fine. I told her what I wanted and she definitely delivered, for a reasonable price I might add. Will definitely be back to see her for another cut and maybe some color as well.
