This place is a joke.Let me tell you why, I went to Snelling to get a job with Tuboscope the coating yard between Midland and Odessa. Kay a worker at Snelling tells me all the usual stuff when I get paid how much and everything else ,She also says that if things ever get unsafe to let them know.and if I get hurt to call her right away.I said ok I will ,and I meant it.So I started at Tuboscope some of the guys I talked with there said man we see guys from snelling all the time they come and go turns out they have a very high turn over rate, about 13 guys a month.After doing the work I found out why its brutal ,it does a number on your feet your back aches its a living hell .Nothing but hurrying all day long, 30 minute lunches small breaks and after you push heavy pipe you walk this big yard to do more work.I liked it in a way because you can get some dang good excercise and Ive worked in the oilfield for about 6 yrs so you better be a little hardened for this work because it will be painfull.I hit it hard for 4 days I never complained and even took some idiot yelling at me I just kept my mind on other things ,This other fella from Snelling Aron is his name, was just treated ugly I mean cussed at, yelled at made fun of he took it though ,but you can see he was being broken in. Ive seen that done many a time so its nothing new to me.They never let up its constant work since day one I dragged my feet to the car I go home and sleep wake up at 4 in the morn get there at 5:30 am then hit it hard again the whole day for 12 hours. I work safe I always have I dont even bend a little for an unsafe work environment, but except for the fools at Tuboscope, and forget it snelling doesnt care It rained real heavy, thunder, and lightning I have no rain coat and your surrounded by iron and steel pipes,plus you get up on these high off the ground 18 wheeler trailers that can be slick with God only knows what,So I decided Im not going to risk getting hurt for ,so I told the managment there at Tuboscope how I felt and that I would go home ,but come back tommorrow ready to go to sum it up they wanted you to go out there anyway out in the stormy weather with no regard for your own safety.I refused but I told them I would come back the next day that I would not quit on them , I got a go to hell look and was told to go ahead and go,So I did then I called Snelling told them what had happened Kay there just had an attitude I mean no back up from Snelling at all even when you could hear the thunder in the background she made it sound like I should have stayed there even if its unsafe.I tell you what the only 2 human beings that were out in the open were Snelling temps me and that jelly fish Aron the rest of the workers were in forklifts or in the plant where they were nice and dry and really not that safe themselves .Folks dont bother with these people at Snelling and defienitly not those fools from Tuboscope I now have to hope that I dont get burned with my hours that I already put in.I hope after I post this up another guy can be spared from the crap that is pulled at Snelling .I bet some poor guy is being prepped as I type to go and work at Tuboscope from Snelling I feel sorry for anyone that has to go through the crap I went through.I hope this will help you in your decision I recommend you go and find another Temp service or avoid them all together!.They sing to you then Lie to you ,then wont help you if its unsafe then try and make you look like an idiot.

This was my first staffing company in Odessa/Midland area. I am completely upset with not only their efforts but also their rudeness. I applied for a job from my home about a month ago in Andrews. I received a call from a Michelle stating to come in fill out paper work and interview. Not only did I have to drive all the way to Odessa to do something that could be done at home, its a month later and I was never placed into any job. Every time I called once a week to check in and also to speak to her, she was rude never looked up my information and acted annoyed that I was even speaking to her about anything. Also not all of the receptionist are rude. Just the one I encountered today. Word of advice to staffing managers and receptionists, if you hate your job then quit there are people out there with much better phone etiquette and customer service skills.

DO NOT sign up worth snelling! They lied to prevent me from receiving my unemployment. Knowing i have kids and cant find work. No empathy, or support will be given to you. The lady, Sylvia, that was assigned to me told me to sign my papers and she would explain the impeach stuff to me, leaving out that i had to report in 24 hours after being let go from a job. When i called a week later, after trying to find a job myself i still was never told about this. I found out after my benefits were denied. Save yourself the trouble and go with someone else. I hope i prevent someone from experiencing their deception.

Everything takes foreeeeeeveeeerrrr with these people. I remember when I relocated to Phoenix, AZ, the agent had a job for me the moment after I filled out the application. But Im going to hang on and try to be patient. I dont want to be any trouble. But i need work and Im willing to work whenever, and as long as Im need.
