Paul came to our new home and was one of a few bidders I considered. I liked that he took pride in making sure we would only pay when were satisfied. I agreed to have our interior done at a fair price - not the cheapest, not the highest. We originally scheduled to start one day, but I received a text message that he needed to push us back a week. No problem. After the first day of working on the house, Paul asked my wife if she liked what she saw. She saw a few issues with our patchwork that we did prior to the paint, showing through on the ceiling. He tried to explain to her that she didnt know what she was talking about, which upset my wife. Later that day, she saw multiple globs of paint on our wood floor where they werent using floor protection. She stopped and asked the crew if anyone saw this paint and if they were planning to clean it up. No one answered her. She asked again this time loudly and nobody responded again. She left the room in frustration. Later, Paul approached my wife and explained that he prefers to "keep moral high" and that she was bringing everyone down with her criticism. When she went into the kitchen, she found that Paul had grabbed her brand new dish towel and used it to clean up the paint on the floor. I dont think I need to explain how upset that made her. The team added another coat of paint to the kitchen ceiling and that hid the patchwork well. Later that night, I went outside to take the trash cans to the curb and noticed a large collection of painting materials, which appeared to be trash sitting next to my bins. No one let me know that anything was going to be left outside, so I texted Paul to find out if it was indeed meant to be thrown away. Paul took offense. He didnt know why I thought it was trash and we ended up getting into a heated discussion about my "rude wife" and how she "brings moral down and he doesnt make enough money off my job to put up with this stuff". I had enough of this and ended up releasing Paul from our project that evening. Paul sent me a few texts later explaining that hes never been fired and he doesnt want to be judged by a half-finished job. I took this as simple miscommunication and, combined with the fact I needed the painting finished, I had Pauls team continue to finish the work over the next 5 days. I never saw Paul again. The remaining communication was with his team lead, Jimmy, or through text messages. - Communication was painful with this company. Most communication happens through text message and the one phone call was an argument. - At time of the bid, I requested in writing all of the work we were to have completed, including the color of paint and the rooms that needed painting. Upon near completion of the project, my bathroom walls were painted, but not the trim. I asked why and Paul explained that the trim would be $100 extra. He did some extra work for me that wasnt on the bid around the house and we ended up settling just north of my original bid. At the end, Paul did not charge me the $100 for painting the trim in the bathroom. - Trim color was to be white, they painted it cream. Additionally, there were a variety of paint brands and cream colors used. (At times in the same room) It looked okay and I didnt want to add more days onto the schedule so we left it as is. I would have preferred white like we originally requested. - They painted our front door and it looks fantastic. I left the color up to Paul, but out of the whole experience, this is the best. They also paint incredibly straight lines. On the positive side of things, the quality of Pauls team is very good. Jimmy and the team were very professional, hard workers, and great painters. They stayed out of our way, were respectful of our home and I have nothing but good things to say about the crew. But, its with regret that I would not hire Reasonable Renovations again.

This company is a joke!!!! They were hired to paint and scrape off popcorn from ceilings and retexture. then paint all trim, ceiling and walls. The job was to take 5 days. They did stay 5 days but it’s now 3 weeks later and I still do not have my shelves back to my built-ins or my fireplace mantle. The painting was horrible to say the least. There are drips on my trim, the paint brand that was agreed upon was not used, they did not prep any surface as quoted, ceiling is streaky not to mention exposed tape from where they removed popcorn off ceilings and did not refloat (as was quoted) and the entire job looks like teenagers did it. This doesn’t even address the mess and huge amount of overspray that was done. Now my staircase railing and balusters have to be painted due to overspray. There is overspray on walls, hardwood floors, trim that was not to be painted. I was planning on doing that also but it could have waited until this guy came in. I cannot get the owner "Paul" to respond to me in any way. I have left numerous messages, and emails but no response. I am actually going to have to take him to small claims court and file a complaint with the Consumer Protection division of the Attorney General’s office and the Better Business Bureau. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, you would be better doing it yourself, I can assure you. In lieu of taking him to small claims court I agreed to lead his lead painter Jimmy Davila make the job right and gave him the job to paint other areas. HUGE mistake he also turned out to be a thief and did not complete one other area he started. My walls in rooms are partially painted and he will not call me back. Steer very clear from Paul and JIMMY DAVILA as he undermines Paul and bids additional jobs for Pauls customers behind his back. This should have been my first clue.

I searched the internet for reputable painters in my area. After reading reviews, I decided to contact Reasonable Renovations. And I am glad I did. Paul takes a no fuss approach to quoting jobs and provided valuable input on color options, as I was not too sure exactly what I wanted. He and his crew did a fantastic job of transforming my interior. Oh, and they did some drywall and ceiling repair work which look great too! I was unable to be at the house while the job was being done. Paul sent me pictures throughout the process so I could see various stages of the progress. This was totally unexpected, but certainly appreciated. I think this says something about his customer service. If you are looking for quality work and a great experience do not hesitate to give Reasonable Renovations a call. You will not be disappointed.

Outstanding price and service. I relocated for work and he quoted my entire house (3000+ square feet), fence (corner lot), and 10x10 patio. His price was phenomenal. He worked with my realtor and completed all the work on time. His crew worked professionally and took the time to sweep, vacuum, and mop the floors after completing their work. He also included additional services such as window cleaning (inside and out) and light fixture replacement at very reasonable prices. Paul even took an extra day after the work was completed to conduct a walkthrough with the realtor to address minor trim and exterior details at no extra charge. He even refused payment until the realtor gave his approval. I highly recommend using Paul for any job. His professionalism, price, quality of work, and commitment to the customer are exceptional.
