This place has to be the best laundromat in San Antonio. I came here at 7am to get two weeks worth of laundry done. Upon entering, the attendant could already tell that I was new and proceeded to show me around, tell me about the machines, and go over the laundry card system that they have. Throughout the time I was there, the attendant checked in on me; she recommended machines that were best suited for the amount of laundry I have so I wouldnt overpay. The machines are all brand new High Efficiency washers and dryers; I use the Tide pods, so they work perfectly here. The washers come in many different sizes; they had ones that accommodate up to 6 loads. After every use, the attendant wipes down each washing machine or clean out the lint trap in every dryer. The establishment itself was spotless; the floors were clean, there was no overwhelming mildew or detergent smell, and there was free WiFi and TVs playing Good Morning America. SAGL uses a laundry card system that you recharge, in store, with cash or a debit/credit card. All the machines use this technologically current way to work. They also have specials when refilling your laundry card, for instance, today, it gave me $22 worth of washes, for 20 bucks. Furthermore, the card keeps track of every washer that you use. If you accidentally leave clothes in the dryer, they know whos it is. And finally, they also provide a wash and fold service for $1 per pound. For 2 weeks worth of clothing, I spent 10 dollars and 2 hours of my time. San Antonio Green Laundry is now my preferred Laundromat.

It was very clean and spacious. Had large washers great for comforters and large items. Had drink machines and vending food machines as well as snacks for sale at the front counter. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was also plenty of folding counters. They also offer a folding service. They are a little pricey but it is worth it with the way they keep the washer and dryers clean by sanitizing after every load.they also have a card process. You put in your loads and after youve finished can pay at the front desk instead of bringing a bag of change. They also accept credit cards! I saw no bugs as well. My only downside was no baby changing station. I had to sit and do laundry with my 2 year old and went to change him. I had to chnage him on the concrete bathroom floor. I was just lucky enough to chamge him in a blanket I had. But the bathroom was well cleaned. would recommend highly to others and would go again!

Traveling for business and needed to wash. The reviews were about great experience and its just around the corner from my hotel so I gave it a try. It should be noted that the machines work off a pre loaded laundry card and not just quarters. I am now a proud owner of a laundry card ($2 for new card by the way) with a balance I wont use ever again. Used my cash first then the random $1.95 dryer cost made my balance $.05 short and being out of cash, had to run my card. Asked the staff if it was possible to get a refund but was looked at like I was offending them. Clean facility, the warning signs everywhere about the place catching fire is kinda creepy but as the saying goes, someone must have done it for there to be a warning about it. Kinda cramped even though its not busy (came on a Sunday at 3p). Maybe Ill swing by on my next trip through town to use the rest of my card balance.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but the climate control is insufficient. Most of the machines are in good service, and the prices are almost reasonable. However, it seems as though many of the customers are trashy, meth-heads trying to clean the bedbugs from their entire wardrobe (all three outfits). Often met with rude, filthy, and threatening language (verbally and bodily), I recommend putting all of you wash in, setting a timer on your phone, and then cranking the A/C in your car until its ready. Dont even plan to fold there, because many people will go out of their way (all the way around from the other side) to insist that youre in their way. Theres nothing the owners can do about the clientele that chose to patron their business, but that doesnt make the reality of it any better.

I love this place! It is clean and quiet There were no ghetto people screaming or letting there children run crazy like other places I felt safe going there with my baby The ladies were very helpful in explains how it works there I think my only complaint would be that towards the end as we were folding this older man was allowed to sit at the tables by the front door and tables smoking We could smell it all the way back to the dryers so needles to say I couldnt finish because my daughter started coughing I used to be a smoker long ago but I would never smoke around non smokers children animals open doorways or in front of doorways where people come and go When I see someone actually tell a smoker to step away from this establishment to smoke then I will change my review

We were on Vacation in San Antonio, Texas and needed to do our laundry. We stopped by a couple other laundromats that did not meet our expectations so we conducted a Google search and found San Antonio Green Laundry. We called and spoke with Jim and his helpfulness and hospitality made us decide to visit this facility and it more than exceeded our expectations. Jim was super helpful that it made the laundry tasks run effectively and efficiently! If you are visiting San Antonio or live in San Antonio and need a place to get your laundry tasks completed...we highly recommend you use San Antonio Green Laundry! We will use this Laundry facility EVERY time we visit San Antonio and need to do laundry because of the cleanliness and helpfulness!

We (a family of 4) were in town for an extended work trip and we packed lighter than usual. We were halfway through our stay and needed to do laundry. I came with my young children and felt totally safe. It is well attended and the staff were SUPER helfpul. I was able to pay for only exactly what i needed. Their machines are newer and wiped down after every use. I felt safe washing delicates and my husbands work clothes wothout the risk of ruining anything. They have large industrial size machines for comforters or 8 loads of regular laundry at one time. As well as smaller machines, which we used, to do multiple small loads at once. I would definitely recommend and will return if i need to do laundry again while in san antonio.

This was my first time at a laundromat and from what I gather this store is quite unique! After a frustrating day dealing with my malfunctioning dryer and much time on the phone to schedule a repair, I loaded my laundry and headed to San Antonio Green Laundry based on their wonderful reviews. Peggy could not have been any more helpful explaining various ways to pay, the machines, load sizes and their other services. The facility and machines are very clean and she cleaned each machine after use. The store is bright and well lit with televisions and snacks for sale. I definitely felt safe and was in and out in just a couple of hours. I definitely recommend this store if you are in a bind or as a regular use facility.
