As first-time parents with an inquisitive 4-year old, we evaluated several schools in the area to determine the best fit for our child. Bravo immediately stood out from the rest in the range of opportunities they offered and their approach to education and development. We were able to observe a class session at Bravo and the contrast between what we witnessed there and the other schools could not have been more pronounced. We knew then and there that Bravo was the place for us. But being first-time, somewhat nervous parents – we had to ask about a hundred questions first. The team at Bravo – from the front desk, to the teachers and all the way to the owners – could not have been more patient, friendly and accommodating throughout the process. Not only did they answer our questions, but they also asked for our input. We’ve only been part of the Bravo “family” for about two months now, but we’ve already had great opportunities to share dialogue with the owners – and we couldn’t be more pleased with the way they have treated our family. We love to see our little girl engaged in growth and learning – and she loves her teacher! And we love the fact that the Bravo family has welcomed us and made us feel like we are really a part of what happens there. We’re not on the “outside looking in”. Instead, we feel like we are invested in Bravo and a part of what happens there. Angy Ford has put her heart and soul into this school, and it shows. If you are looking for the right place for your family, you really owe it to yourself – and your kids – to check out Bravo. You’ll be glad you did!

We absolutely loved our 3 year old daughters preschool teacher! Before she started school her vocabulary was very limited because of prior ear infections which caused hearing problems. Within a few months after starting school her speech had progressed in leaps and bounds! Down-sides of this academy that we recently learned: they do not require their preschool students to be vaccinated...we did not know this until after there was a pertussis exposure. Also, our daughter brought home RSV to our preemie kids who had to spend a weekend in the hospital because of it. At the time we were limiting all public exposure to avoid such a thing from happening. When I brought my concerns about seeing sick children all the time in my daughters class the owner did not accept any responsibility or offer to add any new rules or regulations to help prevent this from happening again to someone else. After having gone through this we have come to the difficult decision of pulling our daughter out and finding a new preschool. We are very sad about this because we did love her teacher and we had plans to enroll her in a dance class for this summer. The low rating we gave the academy is because of this experience it has nothing to do with her learning experience.

Every time I walk into Bravo Arts Academy I am greeted with the friendliest staff I have ever met. This time I was coming because I am the local Reflections chair at my elementary school. The Reflections program at my elementary school was a huge success because of the support we received from Bravo Arts Academy. They donated their time, talents, and expertise to judge our student entries in all seven categories. The students loved reading the positive and encouraging comments that were left by the judges. Each comment was as unique as the students’ entries. Bravo also offered two free classes to every student who participated in our Reflections program. We appreciate their support in helping us encourage students to explore and develop their artistic talents.”

While the school is clean and looks up to date, and some of the teachers are good, I was consistently dissatisfied with the professionalism at the school. I had to call and ask questions three times when I registered my daughter; they didnt give me any information that I needed until I asked for it. I never got the tuition credit or dance bag that they advertised when I signed up. They switched teachers in the middle of the year, and didnt bother to inform parents. They canceled the end-of-year recital that the kids had been working toward all year. They gave an explanation, but there were a lot of holes in it. Overall, I am simply not impressed, and will move my child to another school for dance next year.

I have been working at Bravo Arts Academy, teaching piano, for the last four years, and I feel blessed to work for a company that cares about not just their customers, but their employees as well. They do an excellent job training every single teacher who becomes part of the Bravo family, and I love their philosophy that we can always grow and learn as teachers. I have learned so much since working here, and I can admit I am a much better musician now than I was four years ago because we are always encouraged to keep improving. It is so nice to teach in a place that has a well thought-out curriculum, supportive office staff, and clean facilities. By far the best place I have ever worked.

My daughter takes private piano lessons at Bravo and she luckily landed an amazing teacher. She has improved a lot since making the switch to Bravo. I love how they push theory and give the kids time and resources to not only learn how to read notes but to also understand music. My son is also in kindergarten at Bravo. I was drawn to kindergarten there because they only have 11 kids in the class and it is close to my house. I love how it is only 2 hours a day and Fridays off. The teacher is wonderful and does a lot of fun activities and crafts with the kids. My son is learning lots of cute songs as well.

My daughter attended preschool for 2 years at Bravo in Washington Terrace and she is currently enrolled in their private kindergarten at the new Clearfield location. She also takes dance and choir there. It has been a wonderful experience for us. We particularly love the small class size of ten students and the open-door viewing policy for parents. The owner thinks of everything, and is accessible and willing to give parents a voice. The school is extremely clean and well-organized, the classes are structured but the children still retain some individuality. I highly recommend Bravo.

My three year old son and five year old daughter are currently attending the Bravo daycare and we absolutely love it! The owners are fabulous. The facility is clean, organized and operates so smoothly. The staff is very friendly and terrific with all the children. The food they feed my children is better than what they eat at home! They eat fruit and vegetables every day. My children love the tumbling room, the wonderful outdoor playground and the daily art projects. The final bonus--- the teachers helped make my son’s potty training experience a success. I highly recommend Bravo.

I have been taking guitar lessons at the school for about eight months. My teacher is extremely thorough in all the concepts he teaches - I have learned so much already! There was even an Adults Only Recital in May. I was a little nervous about the recital, but when I got there it was so much fun. All of the staff was extremely nice and encouraging. They even served dinner while the students performed - this really took off the pressure of performing. I am looking forward to the next Adult Recital in December! I am learning songs that I have always wanted to play.
