The first time I happened to be with my son when he went in. They seemed a little pre occupied but gave him a great cut. We tipped almost 75% and said wed for sure be back. So, my son goes in by himself for a walk in appt the other day. He was ignored for ten minutes before being acknowledged and told to wait for a possible cut after his current client. So he waited. After the current client left the barber got on his phone and was texting or who knows what and also chatting with the other barber while my son sat there and was ignored. Finally after being ignored for another ten minutes he walked out. I guess they dont like to take the money or business of teens unless their parents are there and they have to be accountable for their behavior. Horrible service. Think twice before giving them your business or your money.

Tried this place out. Ive been looking for a good barbershop in ogden . Ive tried a few. So far this is my favorite. The staff is very friendly and relaxed. They are very good at their jobs. on the website it says they use warm towels. I got the basic hair cut and they didnt do it. maybe they forgot or they dont use the towels for the basic haircut. Either way their website is way out of date. I wouldnt trust much info on there. Definetly call if you have questions. Also this place may claim to serve walk ins but that isnt true. Just set up a appointment, it is much easier. Also to book the appointments the easiest way is to download the app: Booksy. from there you find Gents and then it is simple to book a appointment.

Most places you go to seem to know how to do womens hair, haircuts for boys, or basic crappy cuts for guys who dont care what their hair looks like anyway. If you dont find yourself in any of these categories, go to a place that only does mens cuts. Gents. You will get a hip, classy haircut here. Not a single hair goes overlooked. The hot towel and neck shave really put the whole experience over the top. I cant recommend them enough.

Heard very good things about this barber shop. I decided to book an appointment. The soonest they could get my son in was 4 days out. Figured oh they must be really good to be that booked up. Made my appointment and the guy who was suppose to do the haircut never showed up. Very disappointment! Thats why i give the 1 star.

Ive been going to Shawn/Gents for haircuts for a while. When I got my first haircut there, I knew I could never go back. Great Atmosphere, Great Barbers. Shawn very much cares about the craft of Barbering.
