Style has always been a big part of my life. I have been to many, many barbers and hair salons. But many of them just want to give you the cut that they want. And as a customer usually I want my hair the way I want it. I went to Talley off of a reference and I honestly can say that I received the BEST CUT OF MY LIFE! I went in and was received with probably the chillest barber that I have ever met. I honestly cant even stop there. His style and knowledge of cuts flows perfectly with the cut that you want. He suggested which cut I should get and I left way more handsome than when I went in. I told him the cut that I wanted and he made a couple of suggestions to make my mediocre cut into the styled cut of the century. Usually the cut is the first thing you think about and then maybe you would do a shave. But here with Scissor and Bone a cut and shave just HAVE to go together. I have never enjoyed a shave as much as this one. It is the best razor shave that I have had done here in Utah! I am never going to anyone else. I have been told that perfection is hard to achieve, but with the cuts and shaves that Talley has given me I would have to say that he has already achieved perfection.

Im not a wordy wordsmith, so Ill let the other reviews get into the nitty gritty (and theyre all true). My wife always told me the two things you want to pay more for (because you definitely get what you pay for) are shoes and haircuts. After visiting Talley, I couldnt agree more. He offered great suggestions based on what I wanted to do. He cuts hair not so you can look good for a few days afterwards, he cuts hair so you can look good until your next haircut. Part of that is because he shows you how to style/blow dry your hair. Previously I had dumped product upon product to style my hair. Now, a dime-sized amount keeps my hair looking great the whole day (now that I know how to stye it correctly).

My Husband Loves it here! He is always there it seems like. He gets a skin fade and a combover top, and it is the best skin fade in Utah! He has an attention to detail that is unmatched in Provo. The best thing about this place is the education! He taught my Husband how to blow dry and style his hair. He physically handed him the blowdryer and showed him how to make his hair look amazing everyday! Then got him some product that gives his hair hold without that crunchy gel feeling it had before. His hair looks so good every single day! He is seriously so handsome with his hair like this! Me and my husband both recommend him to everyone we talk too! Everyone should go here, this place is amazing!

Talley has cut my hair a bunch of times and I cant go anywhere else now. He seems to naturally know what I want done even if I cant/dont explain myself very well to him. What really sold me on Scissor & Bones is that he knows how to work with wavy/curly hair. Most other barbers dont even know where to begin with anything other than straight hair, but I always feel like Im in capable hands when getting my haircut here. Your finished cut is also posted on the Scissor & Bone Instagram account. Both of my highest liked photos are from when I was services there, so I think most people agree hes doing something right.

Best haircutting experience of my life! I am completely stupid when it comes to hair care and even how to style my own hair. Never have I been confident about my style, and for years have just gone to the chain salons. This was my first experience going to an actual barber, and it did not disappoint. This is now the only way I want my hair to be cut. And to top if off the staff is so friendly and nice, and facilities are beautiful. Definitely heading here for all of my haircuts from now on!

I rarely give five stars to anyone, but Wallace has EARNED IT! Not only did he give me the perfect haircut for my hair, he also took the time to walk me through the process of styling it. Have you ever gotten a haircut you loved but couldnt replicate the style the next day? Ive struggled with that for awhile now but Wallace has finally put that to rest! If youre struggling with your hair or just need a new look hes the guy to go to.

Easily the best barber Ive been to. He not only takes time to cut your hair to perfection, but he also educates you on the best way to style and maintain your hair. Plus he knows what looks best for your particular face shape; he can see things that you may not be able to see yourself and as a result, my haircuts always exceed expectations. Scissor and Bone is the only barbershop Ill go to, and the only one Ill recommend to others.

This place is incredible! I called this morning in a panic to get my husbands hair cut due to him missing his hair cut the day before in our hometown. The women that answered the phone was so professional and sweet, she knew I was in a pinch and did everything possible to squeeze him in and not to mention he came out with a qnarly cut/style! He loved the entire experience especially the vibe in the shop. Will definitely be back!

Master Stylist Mcintire is always asking about my life, updates, how things are going, etc., and I feel like I am reuniting with an old friend when we get together. Best Haircut money can buy. Its more than a haircut, its an experience. You learn how to keep that haircut fresh until the next one, you learn how to never have a bad hair day. Best hair cutting experience Ive ever received. They know what theyre doing. Really friendly people too. Theyll go over head shape, and your hair goals (what you want it to look like.) The best part about it is they help you learn how to style your own hair so you can perfect your look at home and rock the amazing cuts you get! A really great experience! May was excellent and took the time to understand what I wanted. She gave me an amazing cut, then taught me how to style it. She also taught me about what products will work best and how to use them. The shop was relaxed and comfortable with a couple cute pups roaming around (which I thought was awesome). I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Talley is an Einstein for hair. I have never left his shop unhappy. If you are reading this and are wondering if you should book an appointment, stop reading, and BOOK an appointment.....
