Power plus dance studio is a second home. the teachers and staff work hard everyday to keep the studio and dancers happy. a specific teacher id like to recognize is Cassie. She is such and amazing coach. And she loves our cheer team adrenaline, with all her heart. she puts hard work and effort in to our team, and its sad thats some dont see that. id like to reply and back up a few steps to a comment earlier from trinity. she was here all year long. and she claims she is always in the back and is never in the front. when in reality. its to help her, when Cassie asked does anyone need help she doesnt say anything but when we do the dance and begin to perform, she acts like a lost puppy. Cassie works all of us the same to make sure we hit and look sharp and clean. and we switch around plenty of girls in stunts because we see which group would work better. with height and how well we can perform each stunt, she was switched out of most of them and taken out because she was late or not there at all. another topic id like to point out is. most of our team had little to no cheer experience before stepping into the studio. but as Cassie began to grow us and teach us new things we became such an amazing team. we had just finished our spring recital and killed it. Id also like to point out is that we have scheduled times that you must be there for. there should be no one walking in 20 minutes late or completely miss the first half of comp review. the time is set specifically for practicing and working on routine. although we might not have gone on for 30 minutes we still needed her to be there to warm up. she is on a competition team and needed to start acting like it. we have times and schedules for a reason. there not there to skip around. and if theyd have a question they should have emailed Cassie or the power plus staff. and when coming to perform at one out of the four competitions we had she was once again very late and makeup and hair was not done. this most recent recital we shined like stars. but she had one sock on and threw a tantrum when our coach didnt have time to set up and warm up other stunts that she wasnt here for. this cheer experience was like no other. and she can go ahead and sign up where she pleases. but nothing will compare to the dancer, teachers, and staff at power plus. i would not go anywhere but here. its home!!

I love being part of Power Plus! Everyone is just so nice and kind. After being a part of their competitive cheer team for the season, I am definitely coming back. Our instructor, Cassie, was by far one of the kindest, most hardworking instructors Ive had. It is obvious that she genuinely wants to see you succeed. As so all Power Plus instructors. Nichole, the studios director, is always working hard with props, sets, finales, and everything else we need to put on an amazing performance. There were some harsh comments made earlier about our studio and our cheer team in particular that I would like to kind of clear up. It was said that our coaches pick the formations in our dance based of favoritism. This is very untrue. Of course you are going to be placed in the back if you arent showing up to practices every week. Also, when you miss two of your teams three competitions, your coach isnt going to put you as an essential part of the dance. That is just common sense. Another thing that was said in the comment was that our staff was being rude to her parents. Again this is not true, I was standing outside the dressing room with our coach and another member of my team, when a dad came back there (an area he isnt supposed to go, because obviously its a dressing room) and started telling Cassie that she is a terrible coach. He was yelling at her because our coach didnt let his daughter stunt in the performance. This was because she missed the first performance that day and out team had already re blocked the dance. He was using quite harsh language and getting in her face, again a man twice her size. Kim had him escorted out of the building. Once again I say that Cassie is a wonderful coach, and they had no reason to be yelling at her, she did her job, and she did it amazingly. I love having Cassie as my coach and I cant imagine not being part of this amazing family that we all call Power Plus!

I have been on the Power Plus Cheer team for three years now and on company teams for six. Cassie the cheer coach is amazing at what she does. She always pushes to make you the best and we always have so much fun in class. The cheer program at Power plus is unlike anywhere else with so many unique talents. I have cheered for high school and other places and really nothing compares. Referring to the earlier commment made by trinity I would like to clarify. I was on the cheer team with trinity this year. She was unable to perform fully in the end of the year recital due to the fact that she had missed multiple classes and was late to almost every practice and missed a competition as well as our first performance that day. The staff was nice enough to let her perform even though she missed but simply told her she could not stunt. She was told to stand behind the stunt and the continue choreography. She instead had a fit every time we stunted on the stage. Her father then tried to come back but there are no dads allowed back into the dressing room area because well obviously its a dressing room. Her father then found our coach and proceeded to yell profanity at her and get in her face and the face of our company director. He did so in front of all the other children and staff. It was disgusting. That being said. Trinity was a good cheerleader and Im sorry she felt this way. I truly wish she would have stayed and I could have watched her flourish. Power plus has been a home to me and my family since the first day we stepped in there 9 years ago. The staff and owner truly care and inspire the children there. As a returning member of the competition cheer team I fully intend to return for the upcoming season and will do so in the hopes that Cassie is my coach. She made me a terrific cheerleader and person. I love power plus and would never go anywhere else!

Power Plus has been the best thing to happen to my daughter. Looking back I am so thankful that I was referred to this studio. My daughter has grown as a dancer, performer, and team player. Her love of dance and performing began at Power Plus. The owner is very involved with each student and knows each by name. I love the technique that is taught here. We had a very close friend whose daughter switched from an advanced team from another studio to Power Plus. One class down and the daughter could not believe the technique she was being taught and felt cheated from not getting the correct training through the other studio. The choreography is fun and new and we are never disappointed! Power Plus teaches them how to perform, not just dance. They teach the students to draw in the audience. They push the students/competition students to do their very best, but do not believe winning is the only answer. They want the kids to have fun. One of the things I most appreciate as a parent is their punctuality. If the show starts at 7:00, the show starts at 7:00, not 7:05. They help remind the audience not to get up or find a seat during each dance so no one misses seeing there child perform. Nichole Kesler, the owner, is a very important role model to my daughter. She is spoken about often in our home on a regular basis. Nichole is very dedicated to well being of her dancers, not just the dancing aspect, but for them as a whole. She teaches them to be confident, do the right things, treat people the right way, and never feel inadequate for their body image. I have referred many family and friends to Power Plus, all loving the experience as well. Sincerely, Very Proud Power Plus Parent
