I have a young child who will begin her third year dancing at Chris Collins Dance Studio this fall. Her first year she was in Creative Movement, a GREAT beginner class. The instructors begin to teach basic dance movement (they do more than let the kids play ballerina, like some places Ive been) but they are not trying to make the kids professional dancers at the age of 3 either. Her second year she was able to take classes in ballet, jazz, tap, and acro (tumbling), each of which were great avenues for her to explore her growing love of dance. There is a great variety of classes and levels of intensity, and is a great atmosphere for all dancers, from the child who just wants to take a single class after school for fun or the most committed student who wants to take 10 or 11 different disciplines of dance. The studio does have a very family-oriented atmosphere - my husband enjoys taking my daughter to the studio as much as me, and is certainly not the only dad to do so. I dont believe I know any of the people who wrote bad reviews, and cant make judgments on their experiences. However, in my life experience I know that no one is perfect - dance instructors, owners, parents, or dancers. What I also know with every fiber of my being is that we will loyally attend this dance studio until we either have to physically move from the area or my child chooses to no longer take dance classes at all. I would recommend checking out Chris Collins Dance Studio to anyone, any day.

Fabulous Studio, my daughter and I are dancing there for 6 years. Studio offers wide variety of classes for any level age or shape. Teachers are very talented and welcoming. Every year this studio produces tons of different dances of different styles and levels. 2 long beautiful recitals are produced by the end of the year. My daughter loves Chris Collins studio, they do teach dance as an art, not only technique. They also promote healthy team spirit, kids are helping each other instead of competing with each other. Studio offers variety of adult classes too. Few different levels of tap (Mr. Chris is a tap master, can teach anybody to tap. Instructions are clear and levels are right) couple of levels of ballet, jazz, hip hop. Teachers is this studio are soo good with kids. It is a special skill to teach tiniest 3 y.o. to dance. I brought my 3 y.o. God daughter there. She learned so much in one year. We love Chris Collins Dance family!

My daughter dances ballet, tap, jazz, acro and hip hop here. We have been there for about 4 years. When we first started going to the studio my daughter was 4years old. She met her first real best friend there and although they moved they are still friends. The studio is run by Mr. Chris and his wonderful staff. They are enthusiastic and encourage their students in positive ways. This studio has a family environment where everyone cares about each other and works together. It is a wonderful place where my daughter has learned so much. My daughter has been apart of the CCDS Company Dancers for the past two years. In my opinion being a part of Company is a commitment not only for the students but also for their families. My CCDS is the love of my daughters life right now, she loves to dance and refuses to miss a class. All of the students in and out of Company are kind and considerate and work to help each other.

Well where do I begin... My daughter took class from Mr Collins and his staff for over 10 years. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Their family is every teacher, student and parent. The daughter you speak of spends every waking moment think about her students and that studio. For godsakes she planned her pregnancy around this place so the kids would have her back for their dances and be ready for the upcoming competitions. She uses the summer to take these kids to parks, pools and the movies. Not a great role model I guess. If my daughter has a child I would love for them to go here and will pay just for the environment alone. Well done Mr. Chris and staff these people must think their kid is the most perfect child ever and it has to be the teachers fault not the child. Grow up and move on... Don't slander a great place because your child didn't cut it. Good day

Chris Collins Dance Studio is the most important thing in my 14 year olds life right now. She loves the people, the teachers and dancing there. It is like an extended family for her. I love that she is learning teamwork, discipline and has made friends for life at the studio.

I should havey paid attention what others say about this place before I enroled my daughter, the stuff (family members) are unprofessional and the owner is angry and rude individual. I dont recommend this place at all!!
