My daughter took her first ever dance classes at Strictly Rhythm in 2006 at the age of 7. She took ballet and a tap/jazz combo. At first, she was totally against dance classes as she wanted to take gymnastics, but after a few classes here she was hooked! She has been dancing in the performing company ever since. The studio offers recreational classes with a recital at the end of the year and for the more serious dancer there is a performing company that competes. Being a member of this elite group of dancers takes hard work, dedication, commitment from student & parent, and of course a passion for dance. Its not for everyone. My daughter has had to miss certain events because of a competition or an important rehearsal, but she has made a commitment to her team and she knows what the expectations are. She is absolutely having "FUN" doing what she loves to...DANCE! And even I took adult tap & jazz classes two years in a row and performed in the recital. It was a great experience! I recommend all my friends to Strictly Rhythm and their kids have and do take classes there. If you are looking for the best dance program in the area there is a class here and level for everyone.

We moved to the Virginia Area around a year ago. My Two daughters were coming from a great studio and very family oriented, so we were really scared of the change because we really thought we were not going to find a studio like the one we were coming from. But what a great surprise we found at Strictly Rhythm, they did not only allowed them to start dancing in the middle of the year, but all the teachers and the staff were always so worried about their well being, always making sure they were getting used to their new studio, their new friends and of course their new teachers. They gave my daughters the chance to open up little by little to their new styles, their new classes and their new technique, SRDC made this move so easy for them that really it really made a difference in our family. They both love dancing with their new studio, and their new friends and everyday they are looking forward to go to class and learn some more. The teachers and the staff are so great with the kids that even you as a parent feel happy to be part of their dancing family. Thank You SRDC for this great experience and for making a difference in our life.

My daughter started dancing for SRDC when she was 2 years old in the recreation program. She took one class a week and was always excited to go each Saturday. Each year that she danced we would add a class and I would always be amazed at the growth I would see in her dancing. Our local SRDC studio closed when she was 7 and because we loved what they were teaching her, we decided to take classes at the Alexandria studio. It was then that we started the performing company...what an amazing experience she is having. She is learning about team work, commitment and hard work. She knows that she dances for the number one studio, but has also been taught to be humble and that it is hard work and dedication that gets you there. Thank you SRDC, Ms. Kim and the SRDC princess camps that started her love for dance. Very proud of being part of this group.

We had 3 dancers here, two of which are Dance majors in college! Our youngest, started through their recreational dance program at age 3, where she enjoyed going to class, dressing up at Halloween, and performing at their end of year recitals. She has learned the proper dance technique and terminology in a multitude of different dance disciplines and has become a member of their competitive performance company. Our family has been associated with the competitive dance world for over 15 years and the last 6 years with Strictly Rhythm has been nothing short of FUN and AMAZING!. The staff and faculty provides a balanced discipline of dance education, a positive competitive dance experience and a warm studio environment. We strongly recommend this studio to all who seek dance for their children.

This is my daughters first year with Strictly Rhythm and she is LOVING it. She has been dancing for 8 years now and is a very committed dancer for an 11 year old. We saw SRDC at some competitions and were wowed by their technique and performance. My daughter wants to be a professional dancer and be more competitive. SRDC is providing that atmosphere and guidance and is ranked #1 by the FDC for 3 straight years.

My daughter danced there for 1 year, I can say it was nightmare. What she learned the best is dont be on time ever because you gonna end up sitting in hallway for 2 hours. And forget about your weekend because competitions are coming, and dont try to miss rehearsal on weekends even if you child wants to go to best friends bday party. Any way after 1 year of "fun" my girl doesnt want to dance anymore.

I dance here right now and I am on the Competition team and I absolutely love it its amazing if u want to go to a studio where you will actually get better and feel at home then come here I love it sooooooooo much!!!!!

I saw SRDC at a competition not too long ago, and they were amazing! :) I couldnt keep my eyes off of them! Everyone was always together and their energy was always high!
