HORRIFIC...stay away at all costs. They lie, cheat and literally STEAL. My wife and I signed up for membership and for my wife to work with a personal trainer. The trainer signed us up with two sessions a week for the price of one and would waive the sign up fee of $99. We went with it cause it seemed like a great deal so we paid for the first month and two days later, they charged my card again for the first month and the sign up fee that was supposed to be waived. I called the rep who signed us up and he gave me a lame excuse that the computer system went in later that night and automatically rejected the great deal he gave me and that it charged it again with the set up fee. They were supposedly returning the funds the next day...however, a week later after 10 calls from me, all they returned was the one month and never returned the $99 set up fee. Since then, my wife, who is supposed to get two sessions a week, has literally worked with a trainer 3 times in the past 60 days. Either the trainer is training two other people at the same time and he just gives her instructions on something and then comes back 45 minutes later to see how she did...IS THAT PERSONAL TRAINING???? Or more often then not the trainers are "sick". Im sorry, unless this place shares a building with the infectious disease center then there is no way that many people can be sick that often...more likely, they are poorly managed, inconsiderate and not responsible and just blow off their scheduled appts. This morning is the 3 or 4th time in a row that she showed up and the trainer was "sick"...btw, its not like its the same trainer each time. No one ever calls to let her know and they dont get her an alternate trainer. This has been the biggest waste of money and time and it couldnt be more discouraging for my wife. The facilities are pretty decent and they have a lot of options for things to do...but its all jammed into too small a place. You may save some money up front...but in the long run...the lack of value makes this the most expensive gym in Leesburg.

The only thing good about this place is that it is close to my house and that is why I give it one star. Other than that it is a horrible customer services. They welcome you when you come to subscribe then they forget about you, then they treat you as one of their machines with no respect. Then if you try to cancel you have to build some nerves before you do so. First it is difficult to find a manager who can do it. The manager is always not available. Try to call them and you will listen to the most unprofessional people on earth. They give you the impression that they are always ready to finght. You must have a document from them validating your cancellation or they will keep withdrawing the membership from your bank account the rest of your life. It happened that I sat down with the manager and I cancelled one account and added another. However, they kept both accounts for four months when I asked them why you withdraw money from my account although I cancelled the account the manager said although I requested the cancellation, I declined to sign the form, what kind of logic is this? I think all staff in this facility need to get through Customer Relationship Management training, otherwise customers consider this is the policy of La Fitness and for sure the place will shutdown in few years. It is funny that they do not accept cancellation over the phone, but when I faced them with facts and I told them I will come over to meet with the manager with whom I cancelled the membership they said fine. Then immediately they sent cancellation email which is not supposed to happen according to their policy. This means they implicitly convinced that this membership was cancelled and they were charging me for four months while it is cancelled. This place needs to be fixed.

The gym itself is beautiful and I love the fitness classes! BUT My boyfriend and I just joined the gym. ON MY FIRST DAY at the gym one of the staff members TOOK A PHOTO OF ME while I was working out. I was in the room (I dont know what the room is called) it was the little room with mirrors right next to the stairs. So when I was working out in the room and I see the staff member in the mirror walking back and forth with his phone in his hand looking at me then at his phone. (he did this 4 times) My gut was telling me he was gonna take a photo of me so I kept watching him. Then he stopped pacing back and forth and tilted his phone up in my direction and I saw his thumb tap on the screen of his phone and then he quickly brought his phone down and then he looked directly at me. When he looked at me all I wanted to do was to give him the bird but I didnt. When I was done working out I went to the front desk and asked the staff member ( different staff member) what is their policy on taking photos of people without their consent. He said with a blank face "I dont know" At that point I wanted to scream but I did inform that one of his coworkers took of photo of me while I was working out and all he said was "oh sorry.. I dont know" with a blank face. Now every time I go to the gym Im always checking my surrounding to make sure that the guy (staff member) isnt around me because he made me feel really uncomfortable. Like why did you need to take a photo of me? why did you need that photo? what were you gonna do with that photo? why were you pacing back and forth like a creep while I was working out? It made me feel so uncomfortable and all I wanted to do is to go to the gym......it just sucks to feel this way.

Honestly what a scam this " Gym " is. The staff are HORRIBLE! The only decent one seems to be the Manager Chris but nothing else gets resolved without him. There is a new Training Manager named Albert. He seems to be all talk and no action. I feel he may be a Carl #2. I had felt forced to sit down and speak with him about personal training. I am a girl and he made me feel belittled by telling me " Oh you wont be able to achieve your goals without personal training " and he told me this story about "His friend" Who didnt get hired because she was very fat but she was "Very intelligent" I felt as if he was talking about me since I had told him that I currently was not employeed. Albert also kept saying " You will sign up tonight", Pressuring me to feel as if I must do it now or die. This guy is the same sack of S*** as Carl but just in a nicer version. It truely is sad. The personal trainers charge an arm and a lef for 25 minute training sessions. BY the way everyone training sessions range about 35-45 dollars an hour at IDA LEE! I have also heard from my friend who was witht he personal trainers, that they all are continuasly late and very generic. I would honestly avoide the staff and personaly training at all costs! I think all the reviews on this place speak for them selves.
