Our son has been going to TBCLC since he was one year old. My wife and I have reasonably high expectations, as were both college educated scientists. The care our child receives has been quite satisfying, and hes learned much more at daycare than I ever expected. He eats well and plays outside (rain or shine) twice a day. He plowed through diapers (so we know they were changing him at a high frequency), and in fact, when we hit an impasse at home, it was the teachers got him over the final potty training hurdle. He comes home with new songs, new sayings and an overwhelming mound of "art." In 2.5 years, hes never been wet at pick up. He has frequently, however, been picked up in fresh clothes, with wet clothes tied up in a bag. TBCLC has the parents leave extra clothes on site for accidents/events. In the cases where weve run short, they have "house clothes", marked with TBCLC, for him to wear. We always wash them and return them cleaned. He looks forward to three major events every week. Tuesday is the day the Tumble Bus (on site gymnastics in a modified bus, which runs an additional fee) visits, Thursday is "Sharing Day", (when hes allowed to bring a toy from home), and Friday is movie day. Friday at 4:00pm is the one time he gets to watch TV at TBCLC. He looks forward to it all week - to the point where we feel bad when we do pick him up early on Fridays... I hesitate to even add this, but I was shocked by a comment made on a different online site. So, for the record, there is virtually NO possibility that our son has ever been spanked/hit/slapped by any teacher. Our boy is quite sensitive, and we will hear for weeks about any act of violence - our cats fighting, Benjamin Bunny getting spanked (in a book), one child biting another, etc.. and weve heard nothing of the sort about any TBCLC teacher. The children are taught to resolve conflicts by telling the perpetrator "No, thank you!" and moving away. If there is any sort of injury to our child (fall on rocks, bumping heads, etc...) we get an "ouch report" detailing the event, injury, treatment and outcome. It is signed by both the witness and the facility director. The director and the owner both spend a good amount of time observing the children. Each time that our child has "advanced" into the next class, it has come with (literally!) hours of discussion. We leave with a very clear understanding of the pros and cons of the move, the potential red flags for problems, and a general plan for evaluating the success - all based on our childs actions. We recommend it: A bright, unpretentious facility run by people who love children.

Great Daycare. My toddler is treated like an individual, with everyone taking an effort to know his name immediately. His teachers document his progress and are able to tell me what he did each day, what activities he engaged in, the toys he is most interested in, which children he plays with the most, what new words he has picked up, etc. Like a previous poster mentioned, I have never arrived and found him in a wet diaper. Also, theyve managed to keep him clean during mealtimes, every time....something I myself have great difficulty doing.

My son has been there for about a year and he absolutely loves the school. All the teachers are really good, they do all thats in their hands to provide a pleasant environment. The owner Christina is really good too, always willing to help in any way possible. Before finding Teddy Bear Creek I had inquired at other daycares and was really disappointed about the information provided or their lack of interest - they see your child as one more number. TBC is totally different plus their hours are really flexible. I highly recommend them.

First time when I saw the center building from outside, I had no idea how this center would be. Once my son start going the center, I could see he really like staying there. The best thing I love is that teachers really care the kids individually and there is family like atmosphere which is hard to find these days. I was surprised that some of teachers have worked there for over 20 years. They have so much experience and very well know about children. As a mom, I can trust and be relief while my sons there.
