Dont let the shiny and new facility fool you. They do not have their house in order. My husband and I ended up going on separate tours and we both walked away thinking this was the place to enroll our child. We want to get our child started in September and possibly sooner and the center made it sound promising. So promising that we pulled our enrollment packet at another facility. I called a left a message to get the enrollment paper with no response. My husband called this morning and they told him that they would have the enrollment paperwork and that we needed to get it in as soon as possible and that it may even be possible to start him early. I rushed there after work and they looked at me with confusion and asked if I had gotten their message. They called about 2 hours after they had spoken to my husband and the entire story had changed. Now there was no space and that the soonest would be around January. What happened in the 2 hours from speaking with my husband and calling and leaving me a message? They did everything they could to hook a potential family and let us down big time. A facility that does not have a clear understanding of the ages of children they have, available teachers, and when transitions need to be made and when space will be available is a facility that needs a lot of work. I dont say this lightly, I have worked for a comparable organization and it wasnt run like this. Very disappointed!! Very similar to a post written on 5/2. It seems to be a trend.

I cant say enough about Kiddie Academy. I absolutely love the structure and curriculum, my two girls have learned more in 6 months at Kiddie Academy than they did 2 and 4 years at KinderCare. There was an incident with a staff member, and once it was reported, the Director took swift and immediate action, and as a parent that gives me self ease and confidence that my childrens welfare and best care are a number one priority of the Renton Kiddie Academy Staff. We love Mr. Howard, Ms. Denise, Ms. Bonnie, Ms. Christina, Ms. Kelsey, Ms. Abbey and Ms. LaShawna. The K.A location is lucky to have such talented and caring staff, and we are lucky to have them in our life!

My son started here when he was 3 months old. It was a rough transition for both of us, but the amazing caretakers worked with both of us, and now my son is thriving there! He was out sick for a week, and when we brought him back, the caretakers started cheering that he was back as soon as they saw him through the window. My 5-month old son was smiling and obviously really happy to be back, and the other babies are always full of smiles. It makes me feel so reassured that they have a good bond and are looking out for him!

The staff there is extremely discriminatory of children. They lack communication among themselves, where they would accept a child and take a check for payment, then the rude director overrules and reject the child. based on, what seemed to be, her prejudice against where the childs parents were from! very disappointing to suffer such discrimination in America of 2017.

Its a brand new school with separate classrooms, no open concept, on site cook makes all the food from scratch, Pre-K has a computer in each room, video surveillance to check in from home or my phone. The extra $400 a month is the same I would pay for phonics at KinderCare, which they include in the tuition as well as a music program!

My children are very happy at Kiddie Academy! They love their classmates and teachers and really enjoy going to school. Their leadership team is great and their teachers all demonstrate teamwork. I feel at ease when they are here because I know they are safe and well cared for.

If I could give this place no stars I would!!! The manager here is HORRIBLE and RUDE!! and the owner doesnt know anything about this business! DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!
