I recently moved to Ballard and am looking for local dry cleaners. Service at this establishment was fine. Dropped off two sweaters and one collared buttoned up shirt. Things returned cleaned, pressed. No issues. Lady helping was courteous. Cost was higher than expected for a non-fancy dry cleaning establishment. $2.25 for the cotton button up shirt and $8.20 per sweater. They were not fancy sweaters - wool, solid. No embellishments. I know there are more expensive establishments, and that there are cheaper. My previous dry cleaners on Mercer Island and in Eastlake were cheaper, so I suppose I have been spoiled. I will stick with cheaper and thus am taking my service to nearby Bon Ton Dry Cleaners. They quoted me $1.95 for a cotton button up shirt and $6.50 for a sweater. When I have more dry cleaning, those differences really add up.
