This place is the best. Tried getting my hair cut by female stylists after Gary at Nine West quit due to health problems but for a guy, its just not the same as getting it cut at a barber. Ive never gotten a bad cut from any of the four guys that work here. You go in, take a seat and when one of them open up and its your turn they will give you a nod and you go sit in the chair. If you have a favorite, you can wait for them and Ive never seen any of the barbers take offense if you choose to do that. I usually pay around $12 and that includes your haircut, eyebrows trimmed at your request and they will also shave your neck with a straight razor. They are all very good at feeling you out - some people like to chit chat while getting a cut and some people like to sit in silence. They will go with whichever vibe they feel you are putting out. The shop is kind of tucked backed in the alcove beside the Berkeley Plaza theater.

Went today for a straight razor shave. If you havent tried You dont know what u are missing. Great shave took his time the warm towels were very relaxing.
