We chose River Falls Spa & Salon because we were tired of the discount haircut places not listening to what we wanted, or not being able to see the same stylist twice. My daughter got her haircut there and loved it....the first time. Upon arriving for her second appointment for a trim, (that we had booked with the same stylist), we were told she had an appt. with a different stylist, and that a mistake had been made by the receptionist. No big deal, its a professional place, we thought it would not be an issue, and were given an extra discount for the mistake, and also because this stylist got paid more than the one we booked with. The stylist was told only a trim, but my daughter came out with a totally different hairstyle. I was mistaken when I thought paying more for a haircut would solve the issue. Ridiculous. They agreed to get her in for free with the original stylist to try and fix it, which we will do, but the damage is done. Im sorely disappointed. I paid before it was done,and now regret even leaving a tip. My daughter was also asked by the stylist if she was sure she told them the correct person when making the appt., like it was OUR fault there was a mix up, and my daughter was incapable of recognizing who cut her hair the last time.(We even have an appt. card with the correct stylists name on it!) What ever happened to customer service?

I love this place! I have been going there for years and all of the staff is amazing. I love the service and I know that it is a friendly professional staff that really uplifts you entering the spa. It makes you want to stay and keep getting more services done....one day I went in for one thing and was later lucky enough to walk out with pedicure, manicure, color....going from one wonderful person to another. I was very hungry so within minutes they had ordered Jimmy Johns for me....and I was enjoying lunch. Thats what I call "full service"

I live in Bloomington but drive to River Falls to see Michelle for my haircut and highlights. Michelle is a talented stylist with a delightful personality--someone I look forward to spending an hour or so with every few months. The other staff members Ive interacted with are also friendly and skilled. The spa offers nail services, massages, facials, makeup consultations, and more. If youre in the area, treat yourself to some time at River Falls Spa.

Ive got to RF spa twice now for haircuts and each time was fantastic. More recently Megan was phenomenal. She listened to what I want, understood my hair type, and my hair turned out fantastic! It was everything I wanted and more. She even styled it with curls and it looked so nice. I got compliments on it the entire day! They even lasted until the next day with an extra spritz of hair spray. Will be going back to her again soon. Highly recommend.

New to town and looked up salons in area. This was close to my house so I thought I would give it a try. I love my cut, very cute but my highlights not so much. Even called and left a message to have a manger call me but no return call. I think I will try a different salon now that a need a touch up on color, hopefully it will be more even color. When I pay the price I did, I expect it to be perfect.

The couple of times Ive had my nails done have been great! They were even able to squeak me in on short notice. As for them doing my hair I love them! The stylist was excited about doing the fun teal in my hair and it turned out great.
