Several weeks ago I emailed Steak Out Corporate and explained the repeated bad experiences with steaks and steak tips. On one occasion I called and spoke with an employee who took my info and said when I came back into town they would replace my 2 dinners. When I did so, the manager said that the employee failed to write down the info and he was sorry but no replacement dinners. So we try them again and always seems to be extremely poor quality meat...same thing! So the corporate people send me an email with a "commercial" reply and say they are sorry for my experience and that the owner of Decatur Steak Out will be calling which never happened! These people simply dont seem to care! No complaints with delivery people or the other items on the menu but for an establishment who specializes in STEAK products, well, Ive had better at Ryans and those were bad!

My husband and I had been wanting to try Steak-Out for a while and when we finally did, we werent disappointed. Some of the reviews on here are a little too harsh. Firstly, Steak-Out states on their website that average delivery time is 60 minutes and can vary during peak business hours. That being said, the food was delicious! I was very impressed with the quality of the food with it being delivery. My husband ordered the New York strip and I ordered the Mixed Grill (Shrimp and Steak Tips). Food came in roughly 45 minutes. Food was nice and hot, steaks were cooked right, and the baked potato was nice and soft. They provided plenty of steak sauce, sour cream, cocktail sauce, and salad dressing. The steak sauce was delicious and the delivery guy was very polite and complimenting. Will definitely order from again! I highly recommend.

Kept calling to place an order they pick the phone up say nothing put me on hold ten mins then hang up call back again nobody says anything but could hear them talking and laughing in the background continue to call for an HOUR AMD A HALF and phone line was constantly busy. They must had just took the phone off the hook at that point. Was calling on a Sunday at 8 at night in Decatur AL. They could not have been that busy for over an hour. Apparently they just didnt wanna work so the took phone off the hook. Had a house full of people ready to order could have made them a ton of money and tip money but I guess the 6th Ave location is just a bunch of lazy non working employees. Will never order here again. Ever. Nobody else should either if this is how they treat customers.

We are a brand new business in Decatur and a new member of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce. Today, we drove around to introduce ourselves (not sell anything) to our fellow Decatur businesses. Being Monday after lunch, things were going great and all businesses were very welcoming. We walked into Steak-Out at 1:15pm and were greeted with tremendous resent as if we were the enemy and offended the owner by even stopping by. Glad I didnt have lunch there, because they have FOREVER lost me as a potential customer. No surprise they have such poor reviews over the last year!!! Wow...what business treats other businesses like that? Never ever before...and never ever again!

Messed my order up a while back. Thats fine mistakes are made. Ordered ribeye ,shrimp and burger tonight and received three hamburgers. Wtf how do you keep messing orders up that bad. Manager is rude wanting to put my money back on my debit card and it will take seven days. Or wait for order to be redone from scratch. Another forty minutes waiting because of there mistake. Seems like they want to run paying customers away. Think I will take the drive to Logans in the future.

Love the Chicken sandwhich! Its so delicious!I asked the lady how much am I suppose to tip the delivery guy and she said 15% but that wasnt enough for me. My total was 11 and I gave the delivery guy 15 and him to keep change and I could tell he was happy. Plus I though he wasnt going find my house bc I live on spring and I have lot of trees in my yard...if u dont know me u probably never noticed the house. But he did so he got a good tip!

I will NEVER order Steak Out from this location again. I ordered online (well in advance), received a phone call from store saying the food would 15 minutes later than my requested, 45 minutes still no food. I call the store check the status and my food is still sitting at the location. Received no discount or no apology from the manager. POOR SERVICE and especially POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My order was supposed to take 25 minutes. Now after 40 minutes I am watching the employees put three people on hold and go back to talking to each other. All this is going on and the manager grabs a baked potato and goes to the office. At least I know its not just our company that cant seem to find people with an ounce of good work ethics.

After waiting for 2 hours and have yet to receive my food, I called the number to cancel. I could not get anyone to answer the phone the first few times. After about 10 attempts, the phone rang and I was immediately put on hold. After holding for 7:56, I was hung up on. I will NEVER try to order from Steak Out on 6th Avenue in Decatur again.

Ok so ordered the rib eye sandwich medium and it took a hour no big deal but when I got it the steak was well done and very dry was not good at all not worth 12 dollars plus the 4 dollar tip I normally eat at Madison or Athens steak out this was the worst steak out I have eaten at Decatur food places really suck

I would not ever order form steak out on 6th ever again, they are very disrespectful and love serving cold food. Then when you call to get it fixed they want you to read the menu off to them. So I then called the corporate number they want me to read there rules and regulations....... so disappointed

I couldnt get anyone to answer the phone and it was only 10:30. So I drive to the store on 6th av the lobby was closed but the delivery guy that was outside said the where still taking order. So l called from the car and I saw the cashier just look at the phone. Very disappointed

Ordered two Rib Eyes for my wife and I. Took at least an hour for delivery. Steak was tender but both were well done not medium. Salad was not very fresh. Bread was hard. Wife became sick and vomited in the middle of the night. Wasnt worth $40.00. Should have going to Logans.

Horrible.I ordered from the one on 6th street and never got my food. I called 2 hrs later n the guy that answered the phone was a complete dick. Was going to be my first time to eat at a steak out but believe I wont waste my time with them again. Very rude staff
