I have been coming here for almost three years. I was a regular at first but then the stylists began to change and so did the quality of work. The last time I was here and entire front section of my hair was straightened at all. After 8 months I came back mostly because there arent my options for natural hair salons and second because they have done really great in the past. Unfortunately, it has gone from bad to worse. I have shoulder length hair with about two inches of perm on the ends, the shampoo girls basically rolled my hair around creating a tangled mess that she then ripped apart and combed from root to tip....not tip to root as you should do natural hair. There was so much hair the the comb that you couldnt see the teeth. Then rolled big sections using big rollers to speed the drying process(I do have thick hair that does take a while to dry) so I wont have the body I normally get from using the rollers. I did want layers but I dont trust these new people with scissors and my hair. I just pray they dont burn me to bad with the blow dryer and start looking for a new salon.

I heard that the Dominicans can get your hair really straight. Every since I went natural about 2 years ago I have not been able to get the bone straight look that I once had with a perm. When I went into the salon and the women were excellent! They took only about 1 hour and 30 mins for everything. I had the blow out. They are friendly and they are speedy with great results. My hair lasted for about one week and a half, but I did go to New Orleans the second week during the hurricane Karen time so I will try again and see how long it last. Also they are really reasonable if you want that look but do not have much money!!!!! I will be a repeat customer.

I love them, but I must admit that I am a little disappointed that they are listed to be open today and that arent. I dont stay close so to drive all the way up there just to drive all the way back home without my hair being done was disappointing. Especially since I purposely waited until today because their site stated they would be open from 10-4. Ill be back though because I love their work and price.

A hot mess!!!!!!!!!!! I got my hair done on 6/14/16 . Very rude and also charged me twice for my services. It was supposed to be $37 dollars only. I also believe that they put perm in my hair because Ive never washed my hair with regular shampoo and it burns. Oh and did I mention my hair is back natural and its 6/15/16... SMH...

I luv JJs...they leave my hair soft n silky..my hair feels better than any 90 salon perm that I have had....some say JJs uses a perm...I disagree as soon as I wash my hair.it goes right back to its natural state..
