Ive been a member of this club for awhile but just recently since transferring back to the Montgomery, Al Ive started having a horrible experiences. I was told that I needed to transfer my home club from Birmingham back to Montgomery and the only way I can do that would be online. The only problem w/ that is that their website sucks and will not give me access to my acct. When I tried to talk to one of the staff member about whats going on the seem unconcerned and unwilling to help. Staff member Alec Long in particular is very rude and unconcerned about their club members. Ive never been treated so rudely about a service Im paying my hard earned money for in my life. Alec was suppose to be talking to my home club about my situation once he hung up he purposely allowed me just to stand in the lobby looking foolish. He did not even tell me that he had already spoken to my home club and neither did he express the outcome. He just allowed me to stand there. I wouldve never known he had already spoken to my club until I called the Birmingham location back (from my cell bc Alex would not allow me to use the club phone as though Im a common criminal). This is horrible customer service and something really needs to be done about this. Ive never been treated so horrible in my life. I will be transferring my membership to another gym all bc of the unwilling to solve my problem. The only thing the staff wants to do is publicly embarass me by denying me access to the facility. Also when you ask for a corporate number or contact info all staff members deny you that info.

When I signed up I didnt like how the black girl at the desk looked at my clothes and my hair Then decided to ask me to step aside so she can assist the white guy name who came in the door after I did.and after showing all of us around the gym, decided to send me to another girl to get a membership while she sign up the white guy who came in behind me.i was there first, im a paying customer just the same as this guy, whatever happen to first come first serve?they say no judgement, that is a lie...but I did not come there for their friendships anyhow, I came there to workout, so screw their opinions....let me get started!!!! Also I really do not care all that much for the strict rules..you know the part that says no grunting or loud heavy breathing when lifting weights, you make too much noise they dound the alarm on you like its a fire drill in elementary school...these are adults...really?

I love going to Planet Fitness as there are so many times you can go and work out, plus the people there are so friendly and helpful! I have never seen a messy room or workout station! I only have one complaint that really bothers me. When people come to work out they insist on bringing cell phones to "keep up" with whatever is so important they have to look at them constantly while working out. I dont mind if they use them when they run the treadmill or bike or any equipment except the universal gym equipment. They sit on one piece of equipment and make phone calls and check their e-mail or whatever and tie up the machines while others are waiting to use them! This gets very annoying when you are on a time crunch! please ask them to limit their use of cell phones or tablets to the equipment that doesnt require someone to wait for them to finish!

Ive been a member here for over 4 years. I stayed when they took out the free weight bench press to replace them with more machines. I stayed when the "lunk alarm" was needlessly being turned on by the employees. But this morning I wanted to work out before going to church only to have to stand outside for over 30 minutes waiting on someone to open at the advertised time. I wound up leaving when someone called the number on the door and was told the manager who lives in Millbrook would have to come open up. This is not the first time this has happened. I come in at 5am on weekdays and have stood around waiting on employees more times than I can remember. This is no way to run a business. I paid for a year in advance and when its up in December Ill be joining another gym.

Its planet fitness! The staff are all kind and helpful, always happy to greet you and answer my questions no matter how ridiculous. If you have their deluxe membership which is really only $10 more a month, you get extras like free tanning and this hydromassage and you can bring a friend with you for free anytime. If you had a confirmed gym buddy only one of you would need a membership. They have a large number of cardio machines such as treadmills and bicycles, and usually enough weight machines you dont have to wait very long. And tootsie rolls. And showers. And no judgement

I like this gym. There is plenty of equipment and I have never had a problem with the ladies locker room, like another reviewer mentioned. I will admit that I wish they had more knowledgeable staff. I wish they offered true personal training. And I wish the staff were prohibited from having their friends hang out at the desk. The only real problem that I had is with other gym users. They tend to be discourteous. They are not understanding that they are not the only ones who must use equipment.

I joined about a year or so ago and am now appalled at how quickly this has deteriorated. It is not the end all be all as portrayed by Biggest Loser. They dont maintain their equipment properly and they dont have knowledgeable employees working there The womens bathroom is atrocious. I would imagine if the state health department walked in they would receive a citation. For the price it was excellent. Ill still go, but have written them so they will look into some of my concerns.

I signed up but end up moving so I called to cancel my membership. Well Im back I called to rejoin only to be told I owe them money because I didnt cancel so I explained to the lady on the phone that I had cancelled only for her to be petty telling me I dont see where you cancelled therefore you have to pay like $80.00 and then I can rejoin. I guess Ill be taking my business somewhere else even though I like the gym its just the rude staff.

I really like this gym and have never had a problem. I wish they had more locations. The only real problem Ive ever had is that sometimes there are no staff members at the front desk when I need to check in or ask a question. This can be frustrating especially when my workout time is limited and I dont have time to stand around and wait for someone. Overall though, good price, clean conditions, and good equipment.

Ive been a member for two years and I love this gym, youve got to remember that for the price you pay its up to you to want to make progress, if you want a personal trainer, look to pay high dollars or if you want guidance for your overall workout keep coming.its like when we send our children to school for the first time, somethings should be acknowledged and taken into consideration for future reference.
