I honestly never ever post reviews for anything but I have had the worst customer service experience at this gym. I scheduled a welcome workout with a girl named Melissa but then I had to reschedule due to getting sick with a really bad cold. I tried reaching out to Melissa THREE times leaving messages but she never got back to me. When I called to schedule again with a different trainer, the trainer answered the phone as if he was answering a call from a number he didnt know and spoke to me like I was a hassle to deal with and his tone sounded like he was very annoyed. He interrupted me when I tried to talk and when ending the call all he said was "K bye." Really? Youre going to say "K. Bye." To a customer? Have the employees not been trained? They had since July to be trained on customer service. Thats another thing. When I first signed up for this gym in July they told me it was opening in October. Then November comes around and I ask whats happening with the opening date and then they say oh itll open in December. December comes around and then they say its opening January 2nd. That day comes and its still not open and they send an email saying the official opening date is January 12. That was actually the date of the open house to tour the gym, not to actually use it. I go to look at the gym during open house and 25% of it was still not finished and then they say it will be fully open for workouts on the 16th. Also, the main reason I joined a gym is to use the group fitness room because I am a dancer and need a place to practice with mirrors. However I get told that they dont allow this and lock up the rooms once a class is done. Excuse me? I am paying for FULL use of the facility. Other EOS locations and gyms allow use of the group fitness room when there are no classes and so do other gyms. But for some reason this is the only gym that does not allow it. The experience with the employees over the phone make me feel like Im not welcomed or valued as a customer and it makes me not look forward to my welcome workout or working with any of the personal trainers there. I will be cancelling my membership as this is the absolute worst experience I have EVER had with a gym. Teach the employees to have some respect for customers and actually treat them like one.

This place is a complete scam. Signed up to try the gym out due to the lower monthly price compared to Mountainside where I am currently a member and will now never consider EOS in the future. I signed up around august or September of 2016 and they told me the gym was opening in about a month and that the introductory rates were about to go up (what a joke). I told them I would try it out if they gave me a money back guarantee which they were reluctant to do, but the manager came out with a printed form which they clearly offer on a semi-regular basis. Signed the papers but didnt really read a lot about it. Figured it was standard stuff as the sleazy salesman suggested that it was. I went to the gym one time to try it out and it was PACKED. Like unusable packed. Decided I would cancel within 30 days. Called the gym to cancel and they said they dont handle it at the gym level so I needed to call their 3rd party billing company. Already uneasy about it, i agreed to do so. I call the number he gives me and it is just ad, after ad, after ad. I listen to about 4 and then hang up. What a scam. Filed a dispute on my credit card and got the refund. BUT WAIT! Less than a month later I get a call from ABC Financial who is the sleazy gyms even sleazier billing company. They tell me I owe them $59 (because they apparently decide to charge their yearly upkeep fee after the first 30 days. How convenient). I said Im not paying you, Ive already attempted to cancel and I have a 30 day money back guarantee. She basically says she doesnt care and I need to give a 30 day cancellation in writing and am still responsible for monthly charges until 30 days from when I cancel. Its not that I dont have the $60 or $70 to pay, which many people who go to this gym may not since they advertise the cheapest memberships in town. Its the principle that this company is a bunch of shady businessmen and Im not paying them for trying to strong arm me. Should know better about these kinds of gyms by now after my experience with another valley gym about 10 years ago. Ill be happy to get an attorney if this is not rectified asap. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER SIGNING UP FOR THIS GYM WITHOUT THOROUGHLY READING THEIR CONTRACT AND UNDERSTANDING THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES.

This gym is usually packed throughout the day and doesnt calm down till about 10pm. The equipment in the weight area is tightly comprised next to each other and you have people almost walking into each other. The gym attracts a younger crowd but they are usually there to just workout and sometimes socialize but still nothing bad. There are some equipment hogs though and they will stay on equipment till you no longer need it. Some of people dont know how to put away weights and will leave the place looking trashed. The hours are great though! If you are a person who cant sleep at night, wake up super early and just have an odd schedule... This is the gym you need to be part of! I have gotten used to the atmosphere of the equipment being close to each other and love the coed sauna. It is usually a spot that people talk (if you dont mind a conversation) and have found it to be a good spot to know people in the growing Gilbert area! Most people in the neighborhoods in the Gilbert area are strangers to their neighbors, for some reason I have found this sauna a great place to meet your neighbors :) Except when you have a that one guy who is trying to be a shirtless and impress people lol

The only reason this is getting 1 star is because the instructors are good. From the moment you walk into the gym you are greeted by the front desk woman that is eyeing you up and down and is rude. From there, I have to wait to check children into childcare because they are at capacity. And while all the workers at childcare are friendly, they are not engaging or watching the kids. So my child will sit and watch t.v. or somehow always come out injured being hit by some other kid. I HATE HATE that you have to register for classes 24 hours in advance instead of working on a first come basis to whoever shows up for the fitness classes like other gyms. The classes that I try to attend are always filled by internet registration so Im not able to get into them. ****UPDATE: The office just called and listened to my concerns about the club. Very professional and I really appreciate that they wanted to know how to improve. Im not sure if Ill be back next summer due to the capacity issues of the childcare center being full at this location, but at least they are trying to improve.
