The gym is pretty good. It is usually clean and the people who work out there are fairly friendly. There are about four people on the staff who are consistently friendly. The others are incredibly immature. If you ever make a complaint or something correct, they will take it out on you. They are highly judgmental. The current trainer that they have is Marco. A membership grants a member unlimited training. When I scheduled my Design Your Own workout session, he literally chose my goals for me which is to lose weight according to him when it isnt (my goal is to build muscle), and they just wrote whatever he wanted. He then brings in people when you have one of those sessions to chose your exercises for you instead of him doing the work. He will openly admit that he doesnt know what he is doing. Ultimately, he a jerk who picks what he wants, doesnt design around what you ask for, and then doesnt care if you can actually do it, are injured, and if you say anything about it, hell tell you "the machines are for people like you who cant do it or are injured." Hes an arrogant jerk and hangs out with the trainer who claims not to work there anymore even those he is still hanging out behind the counter. The woman behind the desk named Ashley does very little work and is highly condescending most of the time. She will take more time to talk and and hug her friends who are cutting hair than doing any work. The people cutting hair are friendly, bu they make every conversation about whether or not girls should be able to do what boys can do. Everything is about how girls are oppressed. The new people they hired are better than the older ones. Marisa is a little off, but she is friendly more often than not. Essentially, when the boss is there, they are friendly, and when they arent, they arent.

While claiming to be a "judgement free zone" its the most judgmental gym ive ever been a member of haha. Its funny that they literally have a statement on the wall that says "we dont judge, well except for "lunks". If youre a lunk (bodybuilder) we literally make fun of you on our wall". Im not sure they understand how hypocritical that is. The showers get hot then cold and takes a while to get hot again. Wish they were open earlier on Saturday, its very strange for a gym not to open until 7 regardless of the day of the week. On the plus side it is very clean throughout the gym.

Worst Haircut Ive ever had, I thought it would be great since I love working out at the gym I thought I would give it a try as soon as I walked into the "barbershop" I felt like I was in a dirty locker room the "barbers" were two very sloppy looking ladys asking for tips posted all over the walls, they said theyve been their for 5 years I cannot belive theyve been messing up on peoples hair for 5 years very very disappointed with my haircut I would not recommend their services even to the blind.....! I will not be going back until they get real barbers.

Literally everyone that works at this gym has some sort of attitude or has to find something to complain about. I find it odd how we can be asked to leave when one of us is wearing jeans and really just walking around not lifting and youve got at LEAST 3 other people in there wearing jeans or something on the list of things not to wear and not a word is said to them. Will def. be cancelling this membership and look elsewhere. You work at a gym, not the pentagon.

The place is nice and the staff are usually nice. My only grip is sometimes the employees just stand around when they could be refilling the paper towel dispensers or cleaner bottles. Far too many times have I had to walk around to find a dispenser that was actually stocked. My bathrooms are usually clean. And they are expanding soon and adding new equipment to keep up with the other location on N Telshor so good job there.

That guy David should be ashamed of himself..if he has problems with the facility thats one thing..but to make rude disparaging remarks about the women that work in the barbers shop is not right. The 2 women who work there work extremely hard and are good at what they do..they have one tip sign..the reason is that they make less than minimum wage and cheap people like you need to be reminded to tip..

The layout is flawed... Treadmills should be facing the windows instead of the inner mirrors. Many people use a focal point while running and it may be seen as awkward if people are working out in front of you and are staring at you because the think that you are staring at them, but you really are just using yourself as a focal point because using the televisions above can disrupt your balance.

I lived in Las Cruses from 87 to 92 before Planet Fitness came to town so cant comment directly about it however last year I joined PF in Columbus Ohio for 10 dollars per month and it is open 24/7 unlike the PF in Las Cruses which appears to be open only from 7am - 7pm or there about. While there are better clubs in my area none compare for the price.

Just started last week. I was afraid to go, since Im just starting out after a couple years, but everyone is so friendly. Its always clean with plenty of machines and never too busy to where I feel overwhelmed. I only wish I received a tour since I have the black card and Im not sure whats back in that hallway, but Im sure if I asked theyd give it!

Location is clean. Staff very friendly. Feels comfortable. Like thier slogan reads...a judge free zone. Havent seen this location very busy. Always able to fine a treadmill or elliptical. Weight stations are scattered around to not create lines for machines.

Its good and I dig it, just wish it was open 24/7, would be great without time off!!! Another big thing is, I wish we could have the heatnon but really up to hit that sweat good!!! Also, would love to have my gallon with me at all times.

I use the gym to relieve some stress and get into shape. Thank you for being so near to where i work and live. I just wish you had some classes that I could take and maybe a scale. but I love Planet Fitness. I do not feel intimidated. :)

Planet Fitness is very well run and clean. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership, but they are still going to charge me the annual fee of $40. I dont think thats fair to pay for an annual fee that I will not be using

I think the front desk people could be friendlier and the free wifi doesnt work most of the time. But I really enjoy the hydro massage bed and the perks you get for $20 a month are absolutely worth it.

Clean and friendly, only issue is that it can be a bit crowded at time. Luckily they have recently added new equipment which has made it much easier to get in a timely workout.
