Ive gotten ripped off by crap gyms like this before. If you have to pay annual fees, RUN. theyre a thief. To rip you off even more. When you take them to court and theyre forced out of business, you might feel like youve won. But all they end up doing is, keep all the employees they want. They dont have to get rid of anyone. Then they just change the name, Thats it. Theyre back in business. Plus all the members have now lost all the money they paid up front and they have to start all over with the so called new company, gym or what ever you want to call the dump. Good news, if they want access to your account, and your silly enough to sign with them. Then when you need to quit. Open another account and close that one. If your check is automatically put in your account. Till you can get it stopped and change accounts youll need to withdraw every dime the day its automatically put in and put it in the other account. You can inform your bank that youve quit and they have no more permission to remove money. The back most times will block their access. That most times will stop the $30 dollar overdraft fee. NEVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH A GYM. 98% OF THE TIME THEIR THIEVES. Thats why they WANT access and wont let you pay cash or credit card. They will rip you off sooner or later.

i wanted to cancel and an employee there told me how to do it, although he did not mention i had to send my request 10 days before my next bill so they are going to charge me another month. the guy couldnt make an exception for his employee not knowing how to explain how to cancel their membership. I WAS GOING to renew in a couple of months but because of this ^^^ i will probably take my business elsewhere. THANKS CHUZE! plus when i used to go there one of the employees was also super nasty to me and i felt awkward every time he worked. The staff was always very unhelpful when it came to anything i needed i always felt like a loser at this gym. im reading other peoples reviews and they say the staff was always friendly and helpful to them, now i feel even worse that there were rude to me ... what did i do wrong?

They will not take a credit card but insist on having direct access to your bank account. When I was not paying attention to my bank balance in an account I dont use much they attempted to withdraw the annual membership and I got charged $30. They did not notify me in any way. They have my phone and email so why not notify me. OH now I understand, a few days later I got dinged another $30 before the first snail mail notice from my bank arrived. So now I am out $60 when I contacted my bank. When I called Chuze to cancel my membership I was told that I would have to write a letter and they would "send" me the forms to fill out to cancel membership. I have been a loyal customer for years and did not expect to be treated like this. Easy to join and hard to cancel.

The assistant manager Cameron would not accept my military orders to cancel my gym membership although I was told they would when I signed up. He said that because they were separation orders, it was "just as if I decided to move". I have used the same orders to cancel everything from my ADT alarm to my apartment lease. Cameron was very incompetent and shouldnt be considered for any type of management position. Military personnel take your business elsewhere as Chuze fitness is not military friendly.

Love the classes and the Staff are all super nice. There are no hidden fees as other people mentioned. They explain all the fees up front and the cancellation policy only requires 10 days notice. I think its more likely that those people werent listening when they signed up. Overall Great GYM!!!

friendly staff, clean facilities, great prices, good location, always available machines/weights. More of a relaxed feel gym for your average person. Not like La fitness or Platinum fitness gym where you feel like you are being judged by the shape you are in. Good mix of people.

This place is garbage. A total rip off. Do not use them. They have hidden fees everywhere and will not let you end your membership without a letter. They do this so they can get a couple more months of membership out of you. No customer service whatsoever. DO NOT GO TO CHUZE!

If youre looking for a place to socialize and walk in a treadmill look no further. If you deadlift and bench then this place is as good of a gym as the gas station down the street cuz you cant do either at either place. Real benching not those dumb Smith machines.

I went to cancel membership. They have you sign the screen to cancel then print a paper with your signature having you pay the annual fee. Not pleased with this it states that you agreed to it. I will not go back to chuze when I come back to town.

The convenient times, great amenities, price, and great staff. One staff member in particular, Johnny is one of the most helpful and welcoming employees Ive ever met in a gym. Kudos to him and your awesome friendly gym!

The staff goes above and beyond, my family loves it. Theyre quick to assist and answer any questions you may have. This is what a gym should feel like, i recommend the premium membership, #hydromassage :)

Its alright, they get you with a $30 fee and one of the staff members is a huge jerk. Its crowded and there are only smith machines. I would rather go to LA fitness or some where similar to those.

Great gym, super well maintained and the friendliest staff. The cycle cinema is also a huge highlight. Very cool idea.However, not 5 stars since they often play offensive rap music.

I love this place, staff always friendly. Clean, never crowded no attitudes.. There is an annual fee but they are up front about it.. Totally worth it.

Clean spacious gym. You never have to wait for a machine. Great deal at 20$ a month with unlimited guest privileges.

Love this gym way better than LA Fitness, Platinum and UofA Rec. Only thing this gym is missing is a pool and sauna.
