I have been a loyal customer of my previous barber for the past five years and I stopped into 1st Choice Barbershop when I hacked-up my beard one morning. I had no intentions of looking for a new barber, all needed was someone to fix my beard up. When I stopped in the service that Russell provided was second to none. The attention to detail that he had made me consider coming back in for a haircut. This place is one of the best barbershops that I have ever been too. Im extremely picky about my hair and Russell takes the time to listen and understand the style that you are asking for. He has a very positive attitude, superior customer service and makes you feel like your family. 1st Choice Barbershop has only been open for a little over one month but you can tell that this establishment is going to be the place to get a great haircut on the Westside of town. Even if you already have a barber you should stop by and give Russell and his staff a chance to impress you, you won’t be disappointed.

I dont like it when any business puts my information in their database. They always say its secure and they wont share it without permission. Thats what this barber shop said too. Now Im getting spam about a members program with this business that I didnt sign up for. The owner said it was just a test, broadcasted to everyone. So what if it is? Now a 3rd party has my info and is already spamming me after I was promised my info was private and secure.

This by far was the absolute worst haircut Ive ever had in my life! I felt as if I was in a barber college but reality set in when i was handed a recipt for $40. The woman barber was pausing and asking for advice from colleges as she was doing my hair! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!!!! I hate that I even had to give it one star. I honestly believe theyre rating themselves!

Love this place. Its family owned by a local guy, furnishings and decor inside are nice and typically the wait isnt very long, if there is one. Theyve got some really good barbers and some barbers that are still learning the trade. Once you find a good one, stick with em.

Awesome place! Everyone is super friendly, walk -ins are welcome. Russell did an amazing job cutting my hair. He made sure to show me exactly what and how he was going to cut my hair and checked with me to make sure that I was okay with it . Amazing experience.

This place is one of the best barber shops in the area. Ive been to most of the shops because Im very picky and these guys are hands down better. If you go during busy times its a wait, but thats cuz there good. My wife compliments the hair do every time !!

Stopped in here for a haircut just before lunch today. Asked if they did walk-ins and was immediately seated and taken care of. Great hair-cut with an attention to detail. The full-service with hot-towel and massage was definitely worth it. Ill be coming back.

This place is hit and miss. Dont get the chick as she screwed my hair up so bad she asked her co worker to fix it. They are a bit disorganized every time I made a reservation, and arrived Id be still waiting 45 minutes.I wont be back!!

Great family owned and operated shop. I happened upon this place looking for a quick trim and ended up getting my first shampoo and shave. Best 35 dollars Ive spent in a long time. Russell does a great job and every game was on.

Barber did not listen to me on how I wanted hair cut. After I expressed my concern he pretty much told me to bad and thats life. I was there for almost 2 hrs. I ended up closing my account I had with them and will never return

Russell is a master of his craft. This is not only an outstanding barber shop it is an experience for relaxation. My favorite is the hot towel treatment after each haircut and the shoulder massage. I highly recommend.
