A friend recently recommended this shop to me, so I thought Id check it out. Upon walking in the door, I was immediately greeted with a smile by everyone who was working there. The attention to detail and comfortable atmosphere made my experience one I will not forgot. This place seriously reminded me of "Cheers" - somewhere you can go where everyone will know your name and make you feel at home. Arizonans from back east will be especially comfortable at this shop, which manages to fuse a New-York style barbershop with a laid-back southwest feel. Alex took the extra time and effort to make my first trip here second to none. The prices were affordable and I left in a great mood at having connected on a personal level for a service that has generally become very impersonal. I will surely return, as well as tell all my friends not to miss out. Great job you guys, I look forward to seeing you soon. -David

I was a walk in and they werent busy, so I got taken care of right away, but that was about the only good thing about my experience here. I asked for a fade on the sides and a hard part - thats all. But the fade didnt seem very thorough. Seemed like the person was rushing to get it done, plus when I look in the mirror I can see that the sides arent faded symmetrically. The fact that I had to pay $19 for just a bad fade and no product, blow dry or any service at the end was a bit ridiculous. I couldve gotten an equally as unsatisfying fade at great clips for cheaper. I was hopeful about this place based on the reviews but in the end was pretty disappointed.

Its very difficult to find a good actual barber and Vic at The Spot has impressed me each time. When youre starting to bald its even harder to find a great barber but Vic takes the time and has given me the most detailed haircuts on top of a straight razor neck and detail trim, a hot towel, and even a 5 minutes with a handheld massager all for $19.00. You cant beat that and I tip him well each time because this shop is a find. Id recommend any man try them out for themselves or their sons anyday.

I read reviews and said 12 dollars for a hair cut I just got a skin fade and a line up for 19 everywhere else is 15 for that same service but definitely need be more informative about prices cuz these reviews are misleading definitely good cut but I can get this same cut at any barber shop for a lower price and not get over charged for a shoulder rub and hot towel and a basic cut smh dont believe the reviews

Wow what a great experience the warm welcome you receive when you walk into the Barber is a good feeling. Very professional and listen to what you want your haircut to look like. This a family Barber shop where you take your kids for life time of memories going to the Barber shop. Alex and his team are some best in the business. Thank you for all the great haircuts!:):)

Best barber shop in Arizona. Alex, Rick, and Alex, leave you looking good. Every single barber leaves you looking great and intend to make you a lasting patron. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Every time I walk in Im greeted by name, service is great. They take their time and make sure each customer is taken care of. The best, I used to go everywhere looking for the right barber. 8 years ago I randomly went to The Spot Barber Shop and Alex, the owner , did my hair. Not only did he do a phenomenal job but I left there feeling like family. Now 8 years he knows my family and he is part of the family. Alex is a outstanding barber!!!!

If you live in or around the Glendale area, The Spot is the best place to go for a haircut. Alex Gold is the owner and the man knows hair. Not only will you get a flawless cut but the place is a throwback to barber shops of old complete with the hot towel and shoulder massage. Its worth going out of your way for.

This place is a bit pricy, at $18 for a simple mens cut, but my hair always looks good when I leave. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I love when they finish my neck and ear line with a straight razor and hot lather.
