Stay away - mean and unreasonable people - no ethics, and treat paying customers like criminals. This place in unbelievable - my elderly parents sent a package (Christmas gifts for their grandchildren) from this location, bought insurance, and had faith that the store would not only stand behind their core business ethical guidelines, but also be reasonable....turns out that these ideas are foreign to this place. Package arrived with something missing from the box - even though it was clearly itemized by an employee from the store. They basically accused my parents of trying to pull some kind of scam when returned to file a claim - the lady who runs the store insulted my dad a number of times, and has made the process of trying to get some kind of response from UPS painful. It is unfortunate that UPS allows people like this to represent their good name...I have had some very good experiences with the UPS store that I deal with, and it is clear that this store simply does not care about their customers. They want your money, and dont care about your experience. A true test of a business is how they treat you in a time of conflict, and this place has failed miserably. Do yourself a favor and go to FedEx instead - at least they will treat you with respect. I hope that Corporate UPS does the right thing and makes things right by approving the claim....as for this location....stay away. Also - perhaps they can learn something about customer service as well. I would gladly remove or amend this review if the store makes things right with my mom and dad, but considering how they have reacted so far - I am not expecting that to happen.

Have never had such crappy service with UPS until the employee Ryan mailed my package out 3 day priority and failed to let me know there was no guaranteed delivery date after paying 13 dollars(I specifically told him I wanted my package at the destination by a specific date and he told me priority mail would do that) for 3 day shipping. Then, when I called a week later wondering where my package was, I spoke with Matt who said he would have a manager return my call, but of course, never did. Of course the package did not arrive at the destination for over 7 days. Yes, I am pissed. Especially because when I called...Matt said "well Ryan is pretty good about explaining things". Okay? And that somehow negates from my issue? Matt was a real piece of sunshine and gave me tons of attitude. I will be contacting the owner of the store considering neither employee was helpful, the one was insanely cynical, and no manager contacted me back. Update: I spoke with an owner named Faith and she let me know there would be a reprimandation to the employee named Matt as theyve had other incidents in the past with this employee. I was grateful she answered and treated my issue like it wasnt just something to brush over.

Horrible service! After parking away from the building (because there are no loading/unloading spots) I lugged two trips of large boxes into the store between parked cars rubbing mirrors because there is no good access or loading area. A customer held the door once. Thanks lady! Once it was my turn in line I said I needed to ship these boxes and had a UPS account number from work.I explained Ive never used it before. I work from home and I did not know how to proceed. I was told I could not use a UPS account number without labels or a waybill? I asked how I could get these items and they said they would be happy to charge me for them. I said they could charge the UPS account I had for work right? No I would need to pay them for this directly out of pocket? What? Really? "This is the UPS store I walked into right?" They said this was done to avoid fraud (is that implying I am trying to defraud anyone?). Also they said that UPS stores are franchised and not really affiliated with UPS. Thats good news for UPS given this places inevitable demise. The two employees were no help whatsoever.

I LOVE THIS STORE. There are two located on Lake Pleasant Pkwy in Peoria. I believe previous comments were for the one located South at the corner of Beardsley and Lake Pleasant--#4320. I agree with them on THAT STORE being horrible. HOWEVER, THIS ONE IS AWESOME!!! This is the one North in Front of Target. I have been going there for some time and am always treated with the upmost of RESPECT and DIGNITY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE at THIS STORE. I will drive out of my way to go to the one in the north part as opposed to the one near my Fletcher Heights Home. The staff are KNOWLEDGEABLE and the OWNER ALWAYS PITCHES IN. Very knowledgeable staff. I WILL ALWAYS GO OUT OF MY WAY TO GO TO THIS NORTH LAKE PLEASANT STORE! THANK YOU! I urge the previous two people to put their comments under the correct store (4320) as I had the same bad experience.

We have had a few issues with this store, but after this last situation, we will never use them again. We were shipping a very small package overnight from Phoenix to Austin. The quoted rate for UPS was higher than the 1-day USPS, so we selected USPS. They charged us $55.95. The package was not received for two days and after looking up the rates with the USPS we found that they overcharged us $22.50. The USPS charge for that box, at that weight, for overnight was only $33.45, not $55.95. When we called about the money back guarantee offered on the package for on-time delivery, they refused to honor it. Their customer service is horrible and overcharging for USPS shipping is incredibly unethical. Not sure how they stay in business.

This store and its owners should be ashamed of themselves. They accepted money for insurance on a package that was shipped, and when all of the contents did not arrive at the destination, they treated the shippers as criminals and con artists. They have not refunded the money for the missing item and have continued to treat the shippers with disrespect. They also have not refunded the money for the insurance. In my opinion they should work hard to make this right, instead of making everyone else feel like they have done something wrong. Do not use this store unless you want to have poor service and be treated like a criminal.

Calculated all 3 of my packages and weighed them with postal scale at home. Took the 3 packages to this store and every single one was much more expensive than my online calculations. When questioned about this the clerk Steven stated well one side is about 1/4" taller so we have to charge more. This is not the first time I have encountered this at an ups store. In fact it happens every single time. Needless to say Im done shipping anything via Ups! Seems like baits n switch to me.

This staff has been wonderful to our business and our family. Lynn helped with a major copying project for our local Friends of the Peoria Public Library group and Faith has been our notary for several documents. Everyone has been friendly and very helpful to us. I am so glad to have them in the community, going to the local post office is so stressful.
