Apple One discriminates against minority and older workers and skirts the law. I had to leave the workforce to care for an ill family member. While providing care, I completed a fully accredited college degree from a state institution. I just graduated. I also have 15 years of experience prior to leaving the workforce for a few years. I applied with a skills based resume and was called about a job but when she heard about the dates she refused to even consider me. They engage in jobless discrimination and will not take people who have been out of he workforce for more that 6 months. In this economy where many people are laid off through no fault of their own and find themselves unemployed for more than 6 months this is ridiculous! This skirts the anti discrimination laws as well, because statistically women, women who are pregnant, older workers and minority workers have been the hardest hit by the recession and are more likely to be unemployed longer. So while Apple One isnt saying because you are a woman and a mother and a minority we wont even work with you or consider your qualifications, they are in effect still discriminating because of the disproportionate numbers of protected class people who have been unemployed for greater than 6 months. Booo on you Apple One, judge people on their skills and qualifications, not on your stereotypes. I just graduated with honors, I have college training using Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. I cared for my ill child and kept a home and family together. I should not be discounted based on your stereotypes about someone who has not worked outside the home for over 6 months. Also, I did get a job the next day, but that doesnt change how wrong Apple One is for discriminating against protected classes (or anyone for that matter) in a roundabout way. What about other people who were not so lucky?

I only rated AES with 1 star because thats the lowest rating available. AppleOne is not a great employment service to use. They pretend to like you and want to help you, but that is not the case. Theyll place you in several short term positions making it appear that the are finding you quality work. The places they send you to are a few steps above a sweat shop. They wont assist with finding you a great place to work that is Temp to Hire. The office lead Mark Olenick is a complete jerk. Im not sure if he is still there. Hes rude and very unprofessional. Some of the office staff mentioned to me that they werent very fond of him, so imagine how an unemployed candidate feels working with him. Please avoid the hassle.

I recently called to inquire as to any type of temporary jobs they may be trying to fill. I didnt even get past the receptionist at this company. She cut me off, was rude and seemed VERY put out that I was even asking her questions about temporary work. That receptionist is the first impression of the company, so she represents the company. If thats what they offer FORGET IT!!!! Dont waste your time!

Been looking for a job for a while now have been working with three different agencies and no one was able to find anything for me even with all my experience. I was contacted by Apple One recruiter and less than 5 days I have a job which I will be starting this coming Monday 6/27/16. Thanks John for being the one that provided me the opportunity.

Was very pleased with the professional manner of the young lady that answered the phone. She definitely sounded like someone I would want to represent me to those potential employers. A++
