I started taking lessons in June 2010. My wife died in November 2009, after fighting breast cancer for 13 years. It was at this time I became depressed and did pretty much nothing for a period of 3 or 4 months. A girlfriend at local gym recommended joining a dance studio. I then went to the Scottsdale Arthur Murray Studio and saw people dancing and talking and smiling. In other words, having a good time. At that point I decided to join. I was introduced to two of the female instructors as my new instructors. As time passed, they became the two people I fell in love with as well as, with the rest of the group at the studio due to their attitude toward me, and the love they had for dancing. The girls and the studio as a whole have given me a second chance at an enjoyable second time around. Thank you all!

Please check the Better Business Bureau before signing up for any classes at this location. Our experience has forced us to question John Almeida’s, the franchise owner, sales and business practices. Mr. Almeida has another location located at 2111 S. Alma School Rd. Suite 7 in Mesa, AZ. I recommend choosing a dance company other than Arthur Murray.

I LOVE this place. Never had a problem. Friendly peeps. Love the owners. I just plain felt like they cared. I learned a little ballroom dance but didnt hang out long enough to get real good. Had to leave because of my job but still had a good time anyway. Give em a call. Im sure youll have a good time.

We have been attending classes with Jonny and Sarah for 8 months. We have had lessons from the other instructors as well. My wife and I cannot believe how much weve learned and how much fun we have dancing now. The instructors are friendly and teach you at your own pace.

The sales people tell you whatever they want in order to get your money. They only provide expensive packages and dont listen to what you are asking for. Terrible.
