Professional dance center where the teachers are more interested in technique than trophies. They do not do competition dance. They believe girls should NOT be pushed too hard. They are focused on the girls capabilities and maintaining a good technique. They perform an annual recital at Kingsbury Hall that is beyond cutsie. New parents are usually awed by the magnitude and professionalism of the recital. Modest costumes are compulsary. There is no heirarchy between elite dancers and the others. Classes are available starting at age 3 years old.

I was in preschool here for three years, and danced here for over ten. Its safe to say that Utah Dance has shaped who I am today! Utah Dance Center is run by a local family with a real passion for dance. Several dancers go on to dance professionally, while others reap the benefits of learning discipline and poise at a young age. Styles of dance taught here are ballet (with pointe for those ready), jazz, and tap.
