Hines is one of the few remaining "old-school" service stations (though the gas pumps have gone away) where one can pull in and describe a "clunk" or a "pull" and the technicians can find and fix it. They gave me a ride to work after dropping the car off, and they called as soon as it was done. What I like is that I never get "add-ons" where I bring the car in for one thing only to find that I really needed something else as well - no unneeded water pump, no rusted through tailpipe, no sales pitch for new tires or alignment. Someone down at Hines also has improved the exterior appearance of the place as well. While I dont hang around long enough to enjoy the ambiance, it does show that they care enough to make a great appearance in addition to providing great service. They are my choice for fixing anything on or inside the car that you cant see with your own eyes from ten feet away.

Find a better shop! My experience with these people was a nightmare. I paid $420 for them to fix my overheating issue... They changed the water pump and said it was good. A week later, I take a trip from Conway to Fayetteville and end up breaking down. Why? Because the Jeep overheated. I ended up spending close to $400 more in replacing the thermostat and radiator in an OReillys parking lot in the hottest part of the day, and in tow fees. This isnt even the worst part. I went in to give them an opportunity to make it right, but they shrugged me off and said they would do nothing to reconcile. This place is mechanically incompetent and their customer service is terrible. While they may be OK in dummy work, like oil changes, brakes and batteries, dont trust them with serious repairs on your vehicle. Just know if you do, dont expect them to take care of you if something goes wrong.

Ive taken my camry to the Toyota dealer for maintenance and oil changes since I bought the car in 2005. 2 years ago, the dealer informed me (after an $85 diagnostic and $40 oil change) that the transmission housing was cracked and that it would cost roughly $600 parts and labor to replace. I elected not to do this without a second opinion and took my car to Hines. After running their own diagnostics, inspecting the housing, and test driving the car, they determined that there was NO issue with the housing and that nothing appeared to be in need of repair. In addition, they did all of this at ZERO cost to me. Needless to say, this is the place to go for oil change and maintenance. The prices are fair and the mechanics are honest, which is obviously more than you will get elsewhere.

I stopped by there yesterday afternoon with my company work truck that I was pulling a trailer with. I told them I was hearing a thumping sound coming from the left rear tire, I had a mechanic get in the truck with me to go down the road so he could hear what I was talking about he heard and felt what I was telling him was wrong. He told me it was something to do with the rear end on my truck and that it would be safe for me to drive home which was about 130 miles away needless to say I only made it about 20 miles down the interstate before having a major incident which could have cost the lives of 4 people in my truck when drivers side rear tire came flying off the truck going down the interstate. I WILL NOT BE BACK OR WILL I BE RECOMMENDING THE USE OF THIS SHOP!!!!

Had a water pump replaced in mid July of 2015 and had no problem with the head gaskets at that time, In Mid august system started overheating again and I checked the radiator when it was cool, It was full of debris so I took the bottom radiator hose off and flush the system with a hose a huge amount of debris came out. There is no way they could have flush the system when they put on a water pump. Now they are telling me the head gasket is damaged and want to charge me to repair it. The head gasket would not be damaged it they had properly serviced the radiator the first time. I will never go back to them. Since Pete Hines sold out the service has been overly expensive and questionable.

My daughter at Hendrix College called home concerned about fluid leaking from the bottom of her old mini-van and wanted to know what to do. I found Hines Service Center online and had her take the vehicle there since it is less than a mile from campus. Hines called me the same day to let me know that it was just a bad hose clamp on the power steering hose and made the repair at a very reasonable price. They also gave my daughter a ride back to campus and then picked her up from campus to get the vehicle at no additional cost. These folks are very trustworthy and have great customer service.

I have no idea what the first two reviewers are talking about. They dont give a whole lot of detail for their dissatisfaction. Very honest people. Very good prices. Great experience with their service (have had a water pump changed and 4 sets tires). They will pick you up if needed. Cons: one of the ladies seemed annoyed when I asked for some small favors - like a tire valve plastic cover if they had one and a plastic bag for one of my old tires that I wanted to take home b/c it wasnt in bad shape. Somewhat understandable but did not feel good to me.

NEVER!!!!!!! DO NOT EVER take your car to this RIP OFF! We had "work done" there replacing the harmonic balancer on our car. Not only did they not plug the fan back in causing the car to over heat, they didnt even put our engine cover back on. I will never take a car there again! I am filing a complaint with their "NAPA Guarantee" people RIGHT NOW. I am shaking I am so mad! UPDATE: I have received a phone call from Hines Service Center and they are handling the matter very satisfactorily.

I had a problem with my car not starting over the weekend, and they were able to get me in first thing Monday morning. They diagnosed the problem, called to let me know what was going on, fixed it, and I had my car back by 10:30 the same morning. They also took me to work and came to pick me up. I have never had a bad experience with Hines Service Center. They are honest people who do quality work at a great price. Best place to take your car in Conway!

The 4 times I used Hines, they have charged less than their estimate and had my vehicle back to me faster than promised. They are an old-fashioned service center where they are likely to keep working on a car while talking to you. This tells me that doing their job is more important than talking to anyone, even customers, and I respect them for that. I know that they will do fast, accurate work, tirelessly until the job is done.

We have used Choice for several problems. So have other members of our family. We always have had great results. They even recommended I take my truck to the dealership and try to get GM to cover some of the costs of the repairs of any issue that they knew to be common. They could have easily just taken my money. These guys are knowledgeable and honest. You cant ask for much more in a mechanic. I recommend them to anyone I can.
