Ive never understood what people see in this place. The catfish is nowhere near as good as you can find at places across the river like Grandpas and Catfish Hole--or even lunch places like Homers and Cothams. Portions are insultingly skimpy, and sides like hushpuppies are obscenely sweet. Ive heard credible reports that the management has actively discouraged business from patrons of whose lifestyle it disapproves. There sometimes seems to be a kind of quasi-fundamentalist cast to the attitudes of management and staff, as if running a restaurant has been combined with doing the Lords work of identifying sheep and goats. Id recommend focusing more on the restaurant business (as in good food, well-prepared, at reasonable prices), and less on the moral-judgment business, if this place wants to draw customers.

My husband and I drove 350 mi to go to his clinic visit in Little Rock Ark from Missouri. We wanted catfish and this place was close. Do not waste the money. Very high priced catfish that seems chewy. Dry BBQ beans and German chocolate cake. The table we sat at was cleared off but not wiped down at all. The bathroom smelled so bad of old urine that it killed my appetite. Management needs to step it up! I am in customer service. The only thing positive in this experience was our waitress. She was very sweet. Dont think I will re-visit again.

I purchased a Groupon and for $20 worth of food if you spend $10. The BBQ sandwich which was "jumbo" was a regular size sandwich. I ordered Large Fries which were okay and there was a huge portion of the fries. I also ordered Carrot Cake. It was HORRIBLE. IT WAS DRY AND THE CARROTS WERE GREEN/BLACK. It was old. I had to throw it out. I hope no one gets sick from eating that. The okra ordered was ok. The meal was just nasty. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Ive always loved the catfish and shrimp combo the most. The slaw hush puppies and green tomatoes are good along with onion plus lemons give the complete package. Ive eaten here with my wife since they opened in the nineties and can tell the quality is always better than the cheaper catfish places. I also love the sweet employees and Christain music playing. FRESH FAST FRIENDLY!!!!

This is the first time that I have been to this restaurant and unfortunately it will be my last. The size of the portions are truly embarrassing for the price that you pay. You can get way more for your money at other locations. The quality of the food was fair. I honestly dont see how they can stay in business with the prices that they charge and for so little that you get.

My recent visit was the only time so far that Ive been. Catfish, fries, hush puppies- were all delicious & you will be satisfied with your choice of eating here. Its a massive place so parties are encouraged to be thrown here. There was a corporate dinner happening that day. The employees were great as well. Ill return!

Food was pretty gross, not to mention way over priced! Sides were way to sweet (green tomatos, hushpuppies, potato salad). Ribs were more like jerky. Made my boyfriend and I sick to our stomachs that night. First and last time we will eat here.

Though a bit pricy, the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only real negative was that there was a thick layer of dust on the booths and the light fixtures hanging over the tables. Otherwise a great experience.

Brisket either sat under a lamp all day or was microwaved before serving. Fish was rather fishy. Over priced to say the least but the whole experience was just dismal.
