I am a biracial woman and my hair is naturally curly, frizzy, and extremely hard to manage. I normally keep it flatironed and straight to keep the frizzies away and to get the full length of my hair. I have a hard time finding hair stylists that can give me the straightened look w/o all the greasy, frizzy mess that most give. Shalitas products have changed my perspective on beauty salons, service, and the quality of the work given by hair stylists in the little rock area. My first visit I got a silk wrap and she told me it normally lasts me 2-3 weeks. My hair remained straight for 3-4 weeks and didnt begin to wave up from the 100 degree weather in Arkansas until the beginning of the 4th week. I didnt have to apply any extra heat to my hair and it lasted until I came in to the salon to get it done over. I am now addicted to silk wraps. In addition, she informs her customers about new products and ways to get the most from ur style and product. She gives great conversation during my visits about other products that will cut back on dry scalp and will enhance my look. I would recommend Iconique hair to all my friends. There is nothing like the feeling of sitting in a stylists chair and being assured that youre going to look great no matter what! I have been a client of Shalitas for over a year now! I know that she is going to take care of my hair need no matter how big or small the style you are going for. My first time receiving services from her, I got a major hair cut! I began to describe what style I was going for and she told me "sit back and let me just cut!" Glad I followed directions because I LOVE MY HAIR, and Ive been addicted since! I have natural hair and color treated hair. I LOVE my color and the texture she leaves me with is like no other! I have recently gotten extensions for the first time and she colored them to my now hair color. Once again I sat in the chair without a care! Her services are worth the investment. I would definitely recommend her to anyone because YOU WILL NOT be disappointed! I even recommended her to my mother for her short hair cut that she now loves. Shalita is truly anointed by God to do hair. I moved to Little Rock two years ago and left my stylist that i loved so when I came to little rock I was genuinely nervous about trying someone new. I heard Shalitas radio ad and decided to take a risk and two years later I am still proud to be a customer of Shalitas. Shes not your typical "stylist"! Shalita customizes each appointment to fit the client and she truly cares about the clients need. I love that fact I feel valued when I leave her shop because I truly value and appreciate her. Hair is sensitive for a woman and as women we want that to right all the time and I feel that Shalita understands that concern and cherishes it. I am so happy I called her and my hair has been fabulous ever since I met her...shes truly God sent.

I have been a client of Shalitas for over 10yrs!!! I have always wanted to try extensions but was always afraid of how it would look. After cutting my hair for a short style and immediately deciding to grow it back, the thought of extensions returned. I consulted with Shalita on several occasions about it and she assured me that my hair would look great! Having very short hair Shalita was able to CREATE some braids and do a sew-in for me. She did a marvelous job with BLENDING the extensions with my hair. The texture and style of my hair is awesome. I receive soooo many compliments about how healthy my hair looks...........theyre not aware that I have extension!!!! THATS JUST HOW AWESOME OF A JOB SHALITA DOES!!!!!!!!!!!

The fact that I fly in from Dallas, Texas every 3 months to get my hair extensions - passing over 1000s of other hair stylists - speaks volumes with my satisfaction with Shalitas hair extension services. When I started going to Shalita, my hair was short, brittle, and unhealthy. Now by wearing her extensions, my hair is has grown past my shoulders in less than a year. A STEP above the rest. Moving to Little Rock was not on the top of my list especially having to leave my stylist. After being here for 2 years and not so good experiences, I FINALLY found Shalita. I came to her wanting a one stop shop and thats what I got. She can color, cut, style and we wont begin to speak about the extensions. She a master at what she does and is a true God send. Being away from home is now not so bad now that I have a stylist that keeps my hair together and makes me look good. Thanks Shalita...Im hooked. If anyone who is looking for a true professional that is great at what she does, no need to look any further Iconique is the place to be!!!

The word miracle worker comes to mind when I think of Shalita. I began going to Shalita about a year ago because I was in dire need of a stylist. What I found was more than a stylist. Shalita brought my damaged hair back to life. After my initial appointment I decided that I wanted to stop relaxing my hair. It was nice to have a stylist take care of my hair without trying to force me into getting a relaxer and telling me that I need to do the "big chop". I love natural hair, however, due to the fact that I lead an active lifestyle I decided I want to give extensions a try. Shalita did an ouststanding job on my extensions! I highly recommend going to her!!!!!

Shalita is by far the greatest!! I shopped around for quite a while before deciding to go with her. Im so very happy with my choice! She not only is affordable but she IS the best at hair extensions. People compliment my hair all the time, having no idea it is extensions. You cannot tell, they look THAT real! She has such talent making each time Ive been an extraordinary experience. Its been so great to find someone with the people skills she has, I always leave her salon looking like a million!! I would recommend her, top of the line for anyone looking into extensions! The word Stylist is just not enough to describe Shalita but the words "Hair Genius" is a better fit! Shalita has been doing my hair for 15 years and every time Im still blown away by her talents! She has helped me transition from getting a perm to going totally natural. Just recently I received my very first Keratin treatment and let me tell you that it is the best thing that I could have done with going through my transition. It feels good just to be able to wash, blow dry, and go! Even tho I have the treatment, I still prefer the miracle works of my #1 "Hair Extraordinaire"!!
