Only rated 4 stars so people can see this post!!!! This is the worst staffing agency in Arkansas. I spoke with a young lady, a receptionist she was the most professional individual i spoke with out of my entire experience with this company. After receiving instructions from the receptionist about the administrative assistant position that they had posted on indeed , i applied for , and they "did not receive my resume" I took the time to apply thoroughly on their website. I was told by the receptionist after her looking at my resume that i was qualified for many positions that they were looking to fill in there admin/clerical department such as office clerk, receptionist, etc. I did as she said and called back on Monday to speak with Ms. Kathy as i was told to do . Instead i was forwarded to a highly unintelligent individual by the name of Mr.ED he is illiterate , uneducated, unprofessional, silly, and racist. After holding a conversation with this individual he informed me that i would not be talking with Ms.Kathy Im unqualified for the administrative assistant position because of the temporary positions i held on my resume due to being a full time college student which was understandable. Willing to negotiate i asked about the other positions i applied for in their admin/clerical department and was told i dont qualify for any and hung up on . In closing if your going to apply with this company when applying make sure if you are of African American descent Hispanic etc when they ask what race you are put WHITE MALE that way you will be able to at least get your foot in the door and hold a conversation with someone who is actually looking to find you employment; instead of ignorant individuals who like to play games instead of work. I should have known they were full of BS when the words in their ads on indeed were misspelled.

Hands down the best staffing agency in town and Im not just being biased, I truly believe that. The Hughes Agency is compiled of a wonderful and seasoned staff that truly has the desire to fulfill the company motto of "Moving People Forward" and provides great service to customers being both our hardworking employees and our clients. We absolutely love when we succeed in finding employees and clients that are a perfect fit for one another and that is the bottom line of what we do, strive to meet our clients needs by taking on the work of finding the right candidate for the position whether it be short or long term. We truly want to help our hardworking, loyal and dedicated employees and we are always looking for those kind of employees! They are our backbone! So if you know of anyone or you yourself are someone who has great qualities that knows how to work hard and put forth the effort that it takes to maintain a job, but who is in need of a little extra assistance finding work please send them our way or give us a call and well try our best to lend a helping hand. I had put an application in for a position that had "immediate" openings and was called later that day and said that Id take any job that they had open because I need one in a bad way and I was told to call back Monday. When I called Monday, I was told that I wasnt in the system and I needed to put in an application and I said I already have and was ask why havent I brought my IDS in yet and I said I wasnt aware that they needed them yet. The lady on other end in no uncertain terms said it was my responsibility to ask what happens next and I said wrong, its their responsibility to let me know what they need from me and I was transferred to a guy and he set me up to come in the next day and I got there and did what they told me to and ask again what job am I wanting and I again replied Ill take anything that they have because I cant wait any longer and I get told they dont have any available at the moment and I ask about what their website says and she says that those are only their to get people in the door.

My experience with the Hughes Agency was wonderful as well as a blessing to me. I had been looking for a job for almost six months but I just wasnt able to land one. I came across The Hughes Staffing Agency and decided to give them a try. In less than a week they had an interview lined up for me. I took the job on a temporary basis in hopes for a permanent position. The job they assigned me was perfect and I continued working at this job through the Hughes Agency. I was recently offered a permanent position with the job they assigned to me and I am now a full time employee with that agency. I cannot thank the The Hughes Agency enough for all they did for me. I definitely recommend The Hughes Agency for anyone out there looking for employment. They will find one suited especially for you!

I talked with Melisa and all I have to say is, "How rude can a person be?" I went in and asked to be removed from their system after talking with her. All I got was excuses like: "She just seems that way because she is direct." "She isnt from around here." (Heres some news, nor am I.) What does it matter if you arent from around here? How does that effect someone not being courteous? A staffing agency is suppose to be about getting people to apply for positions they have been contracted to hire. I have other options for hiring agencies and they have been nothing but nice. I will go else where. Thanks for the terrible experience.

I filled out the application online and got called in for an interview. Got there, did the computer test which took over an hour after all the stuff that was required to do, and talked to a staffer. Ive called too many times to count and talked to Patty. She kept saying that I needed references. She never called the references that I provided and all together stopped taking my calls. I kept calling to see if I could talk to someone different, but kept getting put on hold. These people are a joke.

Very rude called in due to emergency next day I was replaced in told I couldnt work for them after I turned down a job working by water I feared for my safty the customers said put on a life jacket but if your uncomfortable just let me know when I did he said trust me its not bad Im like if I fall than what temp service is out for there self. In the older guy I believe her in charge hes very rude

Kara is hardworking, reliable, and always exhibits the utmost in professionalism.
