Please dont follow my mistakes! I have used One Hour Martinizing (OHM) a dozen or more times in the last three years. With each visit, I became more dissatisfied with the quality and was promising myself each time that would be my last. Unfortunately, the place has convenient hours and express service and that tempted me to give them yet another chance when OHM was my last resort. But that was until tonight. In the past, I would redo some of their work myself - shirts, pants, coat sleeves using a steamer or an iron, but lately I would take the clothes back to be redone. Usually from a dozen of shirts, I would have two to four redone. I just picked up some clothes after a second trip back there. I didnt check the work at the counter this time - I was in a hurry. One of the garments (mens pants) was particularly badly pressed - much worse than it was the first time. The side stitching was showing on the outside from being pressed too hard. The wool fabric was shinny in some spots from mishandling as well as 2-3 lines were visible across the legs. The pants are impossible to wear in the current state, and I hope another cleaner can repair the damage. They haven’t been worn even once. I would accept an incident or two, but OHM service is careless, sloppy, and increasingly so. I am not sure if all employees, friends & owners of OHM in Alameda have rated the place on Google in order for it to average 5 star rating out of 8 reviews. One Hour Martinizing has 2 1/2 stars from 11 reviews on Yelp. Such disparities strike me as odd. No objective person who has regularly used the place will rate it with five stars at least not 8 of 8!

I have followed this owner from their previous company to this company. I will follow them again, wherever they go. The service is impeccable. Bob and his team always go above and beyond to exceed expectations. The very minor issues that I have had were resolved quickly and without issue or worry. Dont hesitate, just become a customer. You will not be let down. As a leader in customer service and as the leader of a large group delivering customer service, I am a tough cookie to please. Bob and his team have never let me down. Hands down the best dry cleaner I have ever had.

Dont go here. This is why: I purchased a groupon, dropped off the clothes, picked up the clothes and presented the groupon. They said the groupon had to be redeemed when the clothes got dropped off. So they got my business and didnt have to pay groupon and it was likely that I would come back for a second time. They are scandalous and have a bad reputation in the community.

I recently dropped off a long black dress for an alteration at Martinizing Deliverys Alameda location. After picking it up, it still drags on the floor at the same length as when I brought it in. It appears that it still has the original hem & was not altered at all, even though the store emailed me that the dress was ready & I have already paid $14 for the alteration.

On Saturday I was told that I had an urgent last minute minute to attend on Monday. I quickly started to look at dry cleaners that could help me in this predicament. There came MDC and their great service from Bob. They accommodated my special request and got it done for me that same day. Wow!

Never actually got my clothes there because while they are willing to go further to Piedmont, they wont come to West Oakland which is very much closer. Looks like they are particular about what kind of peoples clothes they clean.
