I recently changed cleaners after the cleaners I had been using for about 20 years decided to double what they were charging me to launder my shirts (they said they were too big). GAC provides quality cleaning at a reasonable price and they respond to comments of complaints (not from me) and suggestions for improvement. Their staff is courteous, knowledgable and always helpful. I especially appreciate the emailed notification letting me know when my clothes are ready to pick up. That way I don’t have to make a special trip to pick up my goods--I can grab them when I’m in the neighborhood.

El Cerrito Plazas Great American Dry Cleaners is simply outstanding. The couple who own and operate it are clearly dedicated to the business and to pleasing their customers. I have always been more than pleased with their work. Whats more, theyve added some services--pick-up and delivery, emails notifying customers when orders are ready, etc. And they often have my orders ready before the promised date. Cant say enough good things about this dry cleaning establishment. Use them--youll be glad you did!

I got an email when my order was ready, and a reminder a week later, which is very helpful when youre a working mom and youre keeping track of a zillion things. Great American has never missed a pickup and my shirts are always clean. The owner always answers my email mails and settings up a credit card for payment makes things easier. Their charges are reasonable. I do recommend Great American for their good work and customer service.

Truly love it. Six shirts in need of some real loving attention around their collars came out beautifully for around $16, and the counter service was a delight. Staff was really helpful and accommodating, and we had some amusing repartee on top of it.

They ruin garments. Their tags DO NOT come off, even though I requested that no permanent tags be attached, and they assured me they would not. They did. Stay clear if you dont want adhesives on your garments.
